ive got a dark devil auto thats flowering and am curious how much longer til shes ready to be harvested
i read that more milky the more energy whereas more amber the more sleepy it gets, id like to have it for more energy.
i am mostly curious when because of when to do the final flush before harvest.

Start about three weeks before you expect to harvest. Keep a close eye on those trichomes. Best of luck with your harvest!

hi, i took some more photos of my two plants, id say they might be ready if not they are close to harvest. heres are some photos of them up close. sorry for quality, i finally broke down and bought a real camera with a lens i can do macro photography with but itll be a week or two before i get it.

second photo - dark devil auto - pic done with a microscope camera thingy i bought cheap off amazon a decade ago that i normaly never use.
third photo - sweet pure cbd auto - pic done with phone
fourth photo - sweet pure cbd auto - pic done with a microscope camera thingy i bought cheap off amazon a decade ago that i normaly never use.

with the new camera, and without the macro lens i ordered, it took some better photos,, the dark devil i think looks ready to harvest, and the sweet pure looks close, but what do you think

2-3 weeks, waay too many white pistils, also when checking the trichs, look at those on the caylxes, not the sugar leaves. The trichs on the leaves are still forming. The old saying is: When you think it's ready, wait 2 more weeks.

when you say 2-3 weeks do you mean both plants? the dark devil auto looks harvestable and i dont think it could survive another 2-3 weeks, the sweet pure sure, but both plants are sacrificing themselves and is in the final stages. dont want to to let the plants go too long. i probably should have posted these earlier

The pics on your original post I see none that are ready. The second set of pics are closer, but still need time. The last set of pics, yes, that plant looks a bit rough, I still don't think it's ready, but if there are dead leaves in the bud it may give you rot issues soon, your plant, your call.

yea, i may have to call it and harvest on the dark devil, the sweet pure can wait, but id also like to harvest when its a bit more energetic i read that id want to harvest when some are cloudy and some are still clear, am i correct on that? and also the leaves is that the natural fade before harvest or is that aabnormal? my wife and i assumed it was the natural fade.

Clear will give you a very short lived high, I'd go at least 90% cloudy. As far as natural fade, no not completely, it wants for a little N and maybe a bit too much P/K. Problem wth P/K is that the symptoms of deficiency and toxicity are very similar. Lastly the, final few weeks are a brutal waiting period, patience grasshopper! Old adage that's served me well, "when you think they're done, wait two more weeks!" Good Luck!
