Hey everyone, this is my first grow and I'm trying to determine when to start flushing my girl. She is about 38 days into flower now, and the seed company states the average flower time is 49 days. So based on that I should start flushing now. But I know that's also more of an estimated timeline which could vary. Based on my inspection of her I think she may go longer than 49, maybe has 20% of pistils turned orange, and while some of the trichomes are getting cloudy the majority are still clear. I just dont know how fast they turn at this point. So I'm trying to decide if I should start flush now and they will finish maturing during flush or if I should wait another week and give her one more feeding before starting flush. Thoughts?
I only flush if too much salts is cause if toxicity. Flushing is debatable, but on experience, I rather just reduce nutes maybe last two waterings plain water. I use them as much as I can. all the way til the end. Everyone loves it.... But flavor comes only from genetics and a good cure. and burn quality depends on drying process and aging. You have 2-3 weeks left at least
Thanks for the input guys, yeah figured I had a lil longer than their estimation, just wasnt too sure. @Madmax that's 38 days since the onset of buds forming.
I got a 42-49 day finisher aswell bro and to b honest im not entirely sure when to as im an outdoor grower and start bout a fortnight out depending how they look..im only guessing but i was going to start just giving water from around 7 days to go?..im hoping the senior growers can pitch in with there recommendation.
Edit : so thats 12 days to go .mine were in flower room bout 9 days before they started budding ..
