This is my first grow and I am 3 weeks into it. I am wondering at what point do I start feeding my plant Nutes? The strains are Autos blue dream and girl scout cookie in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Also, I'm concerned with the drooping of the plant after watering. I have Sensi Grow A and B, Big Bud, Voodoo Juice, B-52 and overdrive which are all advanced nutrient brands.

You should be fine for another couple weeks. Maybe sure you maintain a good wet/dry cycle in that growing medium. As your plant starts to develop a larger root mass, make sure to saturate the whole medium preventing any dry pockets in your soil. Your plants look good.

*ive got no experience with those nutrients, maybe someone will chime in regarding them.

The bottom leaf has slumped over on both plants. Is this normal? Or is their some type of deficiency? It's from the first set of leaves.

Plants are growing slow due to poor watering method
You get better results watering slow and even to runoff and allow to dry for several days before watering again. Don't start feeding untill you see hunger signs.

You should give them low nutrients now and spray them with co2 water as a foiler spray to help with growth. Just my opinion though.

+1

Absolutely no nutes for about a month because that soil has everything it needs in it for 4 - 6 weeks and sometimes longer I've had plants go 2 months without nutrients in fresh Fox Farm ocean Forest

Recommend adding 25% perlite next time and I suspect your leaves are drooping because it may be slightly over watered

Recommend letting the medium dry more between waterings and always water the whole medium not just around the plant

If they don't straighten back up I would take them off, not good to have leaves touching the soil, best wishes!

how do you guys water the entire pot with smart pots? all mine does is leak out the sides.... so annoying. not sure if it worth the extra 2% air that the roots get having to deal with the water headache.

I use a plastic pop bottle with ten holes poked in lid for shower effect. Water slow and even it won't go out the side.

I thought about that too but the last grow the plant was so bushy, and tied down, that there was almost no exposed dirt and you had to move branches just to avoid soaking the plant/buds with my brown fertilizer water.

also, my dirt is 3:1 perlite and still seems to be compacted and hard as a rock when watering. not having fun on this 2nd grow.

Once they get 7-8 nodes I gradually remove bottom leaves and branches.

That's what smart pots do that's why I don't use them unless I have to

Fabric pots are my go to. If you water slow and evenly, water rarely runs out the sides. Still allows for great aeration to the root zone. Good luck.

I suspect it is this watering can from walmart that pours water out even though there is a sprinkler on the end. I really don't water for several days and when I do I water until there is a little overrun. Also, I have been using a moisture meter to maintain moisture. Could it be I'm introducing too much humidity? I have it set for 60% humidity but it occasionally rises to 70% even with vent set high. This is my first grow and I'm trying to learn the do's/don'ts. Thank you in advance for the help

The pics you posted doesn't look like it was evenly watered.

Either it was not evenly watered or the water here is very bad even though it was filtered than boiled. I switched to store bought distilled water and it perked right back up. πŸ˜•
