Hi,
These 2 are 13wks old come the end of week (7.5wks flower).
Ive started flushing already as the right one looks to be mature, although the left one is behind (as seen by pistils). (Last 2 pics compare colas).

I need to harvest both at once as ive only 1 area to grow+dry in.

I appreciate any advice!

Thanks

Personally, I'd rather have one plant perfect and one slightly under done, than one perfect and the other one way over done. I'm very anti couch lock to my highs, just my personal choice though. Maybe a further drop in light intensity to mimic the end of season, might hurry it up a bit?

Also, a large cardboard box can be a good drying area with an bit of tinkering.

Sweet looking buds, dude, I gots to say.

I think this gives you an opportunity to see what you prefer as far as ripeness goes. I prefer a 15-20% amber. If you let one go past and chop the other around that percentage see which one you prefer and next run you’ll know when to chop. I’d rather go too long than too soon.

Ah yes, thanks! Think ill chop both once more mature one hits 20% amber.

Will the less mature one's white pistils turn orange after chop? Dont want some hairy looking dried buds!

Thanks:)

My own personal philosophy is when you think it's finished, wait another week. You would be surprised at how much weight/density they will pack on the last week.

They both have a lot of white pistols and the left one has at least half still white. Of course, YOU have to decide what ratio of amber to milky trichomes you like and harvest then. Do you have a 30+ times mag lens?

It my experience when growing GG that when you think it’s finished chop it down immediately before it completely rots out.

Looking good!!

D'oh!! (Off to the compost pile.)

But I’m in 90% humidity all night - so better to listen to 7mukee’s advice.

If I was growing outside, yes!! I have some Original Glue (GG4) in the 3rd week of flower now along with a Girl Crush reveg.

my humidity spiked 2 weeks ago for a few days because PA was going through an unseasonably wet time with 90%+ humidity, but it was early enough in flower that there was little to no effect on my plants. Now I'm back to low 60%.

Yes, any white pistils will fade to orange/red/amber during dry. Take the one that’s further behind to at least 10% and chop em both.
