Again, seems like opinions widely vary. Do t want to harvest too soon or too late.
what exactly am I looking for?

You have always to go still., looking for cloudy to Amber trichom.

Look at the whole plant, amber trichomes on the flowers is a good indicator but some never get to amber til the curing jar. Do the buds have a green smell or ripe when crushed, are the “hairs” done growing out and now darkening and curled back in? Is the plant finished? Patience for the win.

are the buds still growing?? if no, i would look in a microscope and wait till 70% of the trichomes to be amber.
