Hi guys, need some help please. My plants are 8 weeks into flower the trichomes are mostly cloudy with a very small percentage turnd amber and there are still a few clear ones, whats throwing me off is the pistols as they are still producing on my buds but i would say around 50% to 60% of the whole plants pistols are orange. im growing in coco is it the right time to flush now for a week and hope they are ready by thd end of week 9

If your weed is growing new pistils at week 8 it means its recieving too much light most likely, that new growth will not mature at the same time that the old growth. Can se wee a picture? You might have to harvest sooner than you think, or not, we need a picture.

Great! We can help you then. If you want to we can start by knowing how close is the light and what model are you using, if its too close that could trigger foxtailing which is new bud growing on top of the old bud.

Ive done more than 900 but it highly depends on the strain to be honest. Some strains are much more light sensitive than others. What strain is it? Once we see the picture we can tell for sure but for now I think its the light making them foxtail whats causing the problem. Also is it auto or photo? Autos might need a lower intensity since they are recieving light for more hours than photos, and if its too close anyway it just makes it worse.

Either something went wrong or those genetics were a bit meh. I would be really mad at the company if its genetics though. Never heard of a Grandaddy Purple that took more than 9 weeks but it all depends on genetics and healthyness of the plant.

We cant recommend much until we see the pictures really. If we dont see if the lower buds are more mature then the new growth we cant tell you to harvest or wait.

Yes please, close ups from upper buds of each plant, and one of the entire canopy why not, the more info the better we can tell you how to proceed.

I never recommend flushing.

Let the trichomes be your guide for when to harvest. It would be best if you can provide pictures of the trichomes on the buds (not the leaves). That requires magnification.
