Should I kill the male ASAP? Is there any other use for him? How long before he is a “threat” to the females?

No, don’t want to breed will take cuttings of the females after. Are they a threat to the others immediately?

No not immediately. You’ll see the sacks once they are obviously males,you want to kill them . No point in wasting space,nutrients etc. just kill em and save space for the ladies .
 
The last thing you want is hermaphrodites in your garden .

You can keep the pollen (cover nannas with plastic bag and shake) but whatever you do, get him away from ladies asap
