To me flushing is such a topic that is loaded with preconception bias
When I grower says" when should I "they have made up their mind. We can line up 15 master growers with all the pics to say it is not helpful and that one guy who gives them a plan is grabbed and ran with.
Prolly be the last time I even comment on flushing.

I think you have another 3-4 weeks to go yet, if it was mine i would cut out any nutrients that has nitrogen in and just give biobloom, and topmax. you will find those buds will double in size in the last 2-3 weeks . ive cut most of mine down too early and its only now that i have let one just go past 85 days i can see the difference .

The folks recommending this are not noobs. They are stuck in the " that's the way we always did it " mentality.
Ask a guy who flushes about his HPS lights from back in the day.

I was there when they made up flushing and still running a HPS on some grows.

If people, the advice and industry haven't caught up by now it's just embarrassing.

In the year 2030 we finally develop true Ai, put a man on mars, gain unlimited energy from fission and Timmy from Illinois is asking when he flushed his cannabis....

God we look complete dumbasses

Ever grow straight in the garden ground? How would one "flush" that plant? You can't, and that's how I grew for many years. Today I grow in coconut coir with Master Blend nutes and did several side by side comparisons on flushing and found zero difference. That ended the question of flushing for me

you can sort of do it with tomatoes....if you want them to be flavorless water balloons that split open before you can harvest lol. A hard rain taught me that.
