I have some ladies getting quite tall but they are still sorting out their reveg. Can I still top them or do I need to let ‘em start sprouting only 3s and 5s? What’ll happen if you clone a reveg?

Cheers

You are more experienced than I brosef! I’ve heard of ppl not doing that and I am starting to know why. The alternating branches make it weird. But what’s ur thoughts? I’m just producing pathetic weight 😂😕 and I gotta do something about it. I’ve never once done LST. Just always seemed so tedious. Perhaps longer Veg? I feel decent about everything except yield. Hopefully it’ll be my next evolution as a grower.

I usually bend the main stem over at least once, and then just adjust everything from there to make a bush lol. I want to get more into scrogging.

My strawberry lemonade mom was a big bush though and she had been chopped up a lot. I think it just keeps them shorter and bushier

How long do you like to veg? I’ve had fun growing a large variety but I rush flower too much never dedicating enough time to a strain. I also figured it didn’t matter if I had a lot of stretch or internodal space as long as I could brace the plants properly. And I was not correct in that assumption 😂🤣

Reveg on clones is usually faster than a full plant imo. I’ve bonsai’d the roots and top of a plant and that gets them growing after a brief shock. Anything to encourage root growth really

You can clone a reveg that still has 3 leaflet leaves, if it's healthy.

I flowered a couple for the first time, recently -- two decent sized plants, but they still had mostly 3-leaflet leaves. Some weirdness happened:

First, it did not stretch at all. It must have been in flower mode enough to take the light period change without stretching. It also produced a plethora of marble-sized nuggets. Buds never got larger than that. The potency was as amazing as the original plants were, but a zillion marble-sized buds is not part of anyone's plan.

I like to start new plants when i put my others in flower. That gives them anywhere from 8-12 weeks to mature and get bushy for flower.

This is what my tent usually looks like.
The front right was small. Only pulled 3 zips and it mostly went to hash.
