This video looks amazing I'll be checking it out, right on thanks. Haha yeah I like Joe learned a lot from him, 12-1 and strictly photo periods, landraces, the Durban, germinating old seeds in pinto bean juice. But don't ever reference the gas lighting technique methods used in Jamaica in regards to his 12-1 lighting schedule. What a controversy it has been to use, but I found it really effective.

About 35 years for me. Gold seal and red wrap were the only things worth smoking around here consistently. That's about when I tried that skunk strain from across the border, and it gave the hash a run for it's money. Shortly after that all sorts of good indicas and hybrids came and took over the basement bunk hydro and the sess sticks and seeds lol.

Here's a great perspective on the old school weed and Dr. Knifes take on Sam the Skunk man.

The video's a great compilation. Always learning about David Watson and wondering where's the Skunk... Good and bad to know

Funny to hear the story about Chemdog that way, I don't think I heard that episode, but I heard interviews with those English fellas and Joe before, I cant find the channel. There is also a channel with some Joe interviews Ill post, Prepared Farmer Podcast. There was a great dank heavy Chemdog strain here I could't get any seeds from. I think those guys used Humboldt a lot. As well as the Purple Chemdog I was getting. All Bagseeds I used and found true parents. Had better luck with them than I did with any breeder seed strains I have tried around here. There was a strain on their eu site called old genetics or something, they said they met up with Chemdog Dave and traded some seeds. I can't find it now. Interested to try the Lee Perry strain though... Just realised they have different sites and have had a couple different Chemdogs apparently...

It might of been me growing Purple Chemdog and mentioning 34st (Dutch) balanced 1:1 mango strain in regard to his natural ratio landraces, that pissed him off too. I think I tried to ask him about a skunk landrace a few times and didn't realize the can I was opening. I advocate for his 12-1 horticulture as well, figured GLT in Jamaica was relevant to say but I think it probably remided him of the Dutch pounding on the excessive light and making the need for cal mag and "everything else they can sell you" lol . I think I'm banned from his Facebook now.

Oh, guys, hi! It's fun here, and there's a lot of discussion. I just wanted to say that I have one weed that appears after pollination during the life of one generation, and another that appears after separation with the dominant. Well, you remember, I think it's a skunk. So, do you know anything about the structure of this slut? Is it big or small, and do I need to trim it or something like that? Thanks in advance. After the dominant gene, the recessive has become absolutely delightful. But I don't smoke at all, so I notice it in the leaves. On average, I smoke once or twice a month

@ForestSpirit - I have not grown this pheno so I can't answer your question about plant structure. In fact, until someone finds it, no one can really answer that. It's something that has gone extinct. The skunk's ass has gone AWOL from all Skunk cultivars and has been missing since about 2000. This is something very rare if it still exists at all.

I had the same idea. That's why I don't think it's a copy without any changes. However, there are some aspects that attracted me to this plant. Most importantly, I completely lost my mind and fell in love, and I'm currently doing crazy things in my country without knowing how it will end. I would like to learn more about its characteristics. In any case, the variety is from 2005, and it's possible that my Masha is like this because of this variety. I allowed myself to give a new name because I spent 2 years tinkering with the nutrition for this plant and I've achieved excellent results. It no longer has a disgusting taste, and the leaves are no longer suffering. Although it's not a large plant, I decided to produce seeds to ensure its productivity. I don't have enough space to grow larger plants anyway.
All I know is that it's the first plant from an old seed bank. I can only tell you what kind of plant it is based on the facts. Moreover, I don't know much about the varieties. It's the first plant I chose consciously, and I can't lose it. I'll have a heart attack, and I don't want to live without it. That's how I fell in love with it.))))

I've been smoking for 20 years, and I've never experienced anything like this. I've really lost my head to this heat. I even went to the police and told them that it was amazing. They said, "We're happy for you, but don't get distracted from catching criminals." No one believes me. And then I discovered the dominant gene in it. I've practically gained an education by studying this herb. I've learned a lot, and I continue to read. If there's anything interesting, I'll let you know, but please let me know if anyone knows more.I've already argued with everyone about this topic)))But I just fell in love so don't be offended by me.In my country, all the breeders hate me.Because while I was studying this, I must have revealed a lot of cultivation secrets. But to me, it's like a force I can't resistAs luck would have it, the whole generation of boys and I have read everything I can. I now know about the genes that regulate it and even about the age and amount of pollen to achieve male or female individuals. In short, pollination is left. But I was just in a crushed state to finish the work quickly. And I always want to know more before I get the result. Maybe by winter I will be pollinated.I have to use a translator, and I'm not surprised if you didn't understand anything.)))

Which is the best strains to make hash from from Sativa to Indica in your opinion you have personally experienced over 40 years ?

Cool video! Only thing I disagree with is, that he claims Indica was created in labs, or at least isn't natural - wtf lol. Is he perhaps thinking of the G13 project of the CIA/FBI? Even that probably didn't involve any magical science tricks to get it potent, but was simply created by crossing different potent strains.

When it comes to which weed is beneficial or bad, that depends on the individual who smokes it. If you feel bad from a certain strain, don't smoke it because it will mess with you over time. Has zero to do with Sativa or Indica.

When it comes to the effect of Skunk I know (not the Roadkill), it can be both Indica and Sativa leaning.

He's right in a way, although human intervention is inevitable, landraces wouldn't have so much isolated and inbred stabilized high THC or Triploid mutants. Dave Watson and his government adventures, and who knows what the government did to it behind the scenes during reefer madness. Or high CBD or high balanced CBD:THC, CBG etc. But you also see the benefits all have provided if not abused in excess, like the too much of anything story. Rick Simpson oil, CBD for all it's doing now, CBN, CBG and more. Perhaps natures landraces has it all to some degree out there already, in a more ideal ratio, we just gotta use our new tools and knowledge to keep looking.

I watched half of the movie and couldn't continue. I thought they would tell me about the characteristics of the variety, but all they knew was that it smelled bad, and I didn't finish watching it.To be honest, I'm very dissatisfied with the level of discussion. It's outrageous. Masha and I have decided to be friends. But we need to smell like skunks, otherwise we're in a bad mood. But if we smell, it's much more fun. Masha and I will test the varieties of well-known brands and share our experiences. I think we'll start closer to summer.

Eah, try these... I'm going to breed these with my original Lemon Thai. Apparently, this is as close to that sticky stinky leafy skunk we miss so bad, but improved ever so much, and automatic, so that's a bonus or not, depending on how you feel about autoflowers.

The fact is that I'm not looking for a skunk. I just have a dominant gene. I'll look at other varieties. I don't have a skunk. I have Masha, and she's just as crazy as I amThis is similar to a 1:1 split.?
