Hello fellows, which calmag would you prefer?
Guess right now I don't need calmag but the time will come and than I want to be prepared and use it as a precaution.
Thinking about to get one without npk or just with low PK so I can use it through the flowering as well. Or could be the better and cheaper choice to get Epsom salt and gypsum and mix it with water, but other mixes also contain nessecary ingredients which will be missing then.
Until now I didn't find the right mix for me, you may help me out.
First grow, only organic with biotabs system, never fed my autos(Lemon pie auto, critical orange punch)with calmag(in Coco a must!?) and coco was also not soaked and washed right..learned for next time.
Some leaves got curled tips and a few burned, guess it's a result of light stress maybe a little high dosed fertilizer(Orgatrex(biotabs)
Others leaves are little more structured.
Now some white spots(3rd pic) appeared, maybe from drought?
They're currently in day 46 from seed, they in preflower now and I am happy about my lady's and love their smell
Did some Lst, fantatasic to see how that worked! I let them free for their final stretch.
Happy 420 everyone!

I make my own calcium. Cook egg shells till they are golden brown soak in vinegar. The vinegar will resolve the egg shells. Is the vinegar at 1000:1 ratio with water. 3ml of vinegar = 1 gallon of water. Called wsc water soluble calcium. Some hydro guy will tell you to by some chemical.

Tried it once, just took eggshells, cooked them with water and gave it to my plants, guess the vinegar was missing ;)
Heared that there is always a lack of magnesium in Coco, is that true?

Liquid is the best way to go due to bio-availability.
Procal is my go to for any nutrient regime.
It is an affordable and standard product.
Calimagic is another great one,
or Magnifical.
These products guarantee a balanced availability of Calcium and Magnesium.

I’ve watched a video on it only. Coco has to be buffered with cal-mag.

Heard of calimagic before and will check that out, but in magnifical is too much nitrogen for my taste

For my next Coco/perlit mix I will add them as well, but for the start in Coco is it useful to add magnesium as well so they can develope faster?
Had problems with every seed growed too slow to a good seedlings in my coco.

Build Your Coco for Hi-Freq Fertigation's, 55/45 Coco/#3 Perlite,(if you can find #4 Perlite go 60/40) The reason for being in Coco is to have total Control over what's in your (Inert) Media (dont add eggshell concoctions, or anything else that isnt measurable),You want it fast draining fast drying - Coco is for technical growers - I know exactly what's In my media at all times! I use MegaCrop and their 2 Part Single Tank Mix Calculator - I mix my Solution It shows a breakdown in elemental ppms of every single nutrient, If I want 159ppm of Total Nitrogen In early Veg I can use the slider to dial it in, (see pic) I water to run-off measure it and I know exactly what is coming out! This is what separates us from Soil Growers, we are Control Freaks lol !! I grew in soil for many years, but if I ran into a problem it was guess work? I never liked the guess work, You get an Issue with Coco or DWC, I dont care what the Issue is I mix up a "corrective nutrient solution" pour it thru full reset on the Rhizo, Issue gone 12 hours. I of course throw no shade at my "Soil Brothers" Growing Bangers that make me drool! But for me its Hydro! adding something I cant measure defeats the purpose, it destabilizes my OCD, its a free radical, an errant program, a ghost in my machine - lol, Right On Redneckx!

too funny! - Yeah I started with the Original 1 Part, I thought it was better than a lot of 2 Part formula's, when the 2 Part came out i wanna say 2017/18?, I jumped on it, Its a simple inexpensive robust nutrient, that has it all, plus some! and with their calculator Ive been able to dial in. Yeah, Im done searching for Nutrients, And for DWC/Coco Its the only thing I run. keep at it man!

Yeah now I've worked out the 1 part needs a bit of calmag the entire time I'm very happy with it! I drop it back about week 4 to 5 of flower because of how N heavy it is but I just add a 1/4 dose of pk boost to make up for it!

that optic foliar overgrow is amazing, i've never seen growth like it! And biobizz is all i've ever really used, did a run with advanced nutrients but was very dissapointing in comparison to biobizz. I can recommend optic foliar overgrow for any grow though, easy to apply hard to fuck it up and silly silly results!
