Anything over 800 is a waste and potentially harmful. Unless you’re running C02 in a sealed environment. Thanks man! How low would you take them? I've got them at 16", but I'm only at 75% and getting 1050 PPFD! If I've got room to turn them up how high should I be looking to go do you think in terms of ppfd/DLI? They certainly don't look like they're being pushed too hard and expressing deficiencies so I'm assuming they can take some more?
You can push most modern varieties over 1k... but i'd only do it if your growing coco / hydro. If she starts to look uncomfortable, flush immediately..Anything over 800 is a waste and potentially harmful. Unless you’re running C02 in a sealed environment.
If they’re asking here I’ll stick to advising 800.You can push most modern varieties over 1k... but i'd only do it if your growing coco / hydro. If she starts to look uncomfortable, flush immediately..
Buy a quantum PAR meter. Seriously. One of my best purchases. Ends the wondering.Appreciate both viewpoints. They are in Coco and showing no signs of distress or being pushed to demand more nutes than I can provide without risking nute burn at current levels. I can't see myself going any higher.
I guess a lot of confusion comes from the hydro store guy saying my lights would never get me through flower, yet I'm getting 1000 at only 70%. Also weird because on the PAR maps I've seen it goes only up to 1000 at the peak points. Do they run those tests at 100%, or do they just set it so the highest point is 1000 then test the spread? Photone has been tested to be really accurate in iPhone 12, but I just can't believe a 300w Mars Hydro LED is putting out 1500 or more at the centre at 17"??
I'm using Photone which I've seen tested on Migro and he says it's almost as accurate as the meters that Apogee sell v but I will invest in one anyway with the proceeds of my first crop. The little bit I will be parting with anywayBuy a quantum PAR meter. Seriously. One of my best purchases. Ends the wondering.
Oh I gotta thumbs up that C99 that’s a classic and very very good.Honestly if you love Jack Herer, I would personally keep growing it until you perfect that strain and maybe find a keeper mother to keep it going.
Otherwise I’d recommend checking out C99 or Cinderella XX.
fast flowering, good yields, very sativa in effects but can be easily trained into a nice bush.
You have not smoked enough for long enough.Sativa. Just ok. I've never smoked a sativa that I wanted to buy some of. Still holding out hope.
Yeah. Another 30 years should do it. Maybe I should smoke 2 ounces a day.You have not smoked enough for long enough.
Last time I saw real thai was almost 40 years ago. 30 years ago we were growing skunk and afghani. Maybe if the king legalizes it will come back. Weed is like music- people still love what they grew up with.Yeah. Another 30 years should do it. Maybe I should smoke 2 ounces a day.
Where I live it's almost impossible to see any kind of decent sativa. If I'm going to try grow some it will be Dr. Grinspoon or nothing. Im not giving up. But it's like living in Germany and trying to find a Bud Lite. Just not a thing here. Trying to actually smoke a different smoke from another part of the world and get the best. Thats something hard to achieve. But worth trying. I won't give up. But so far nothing. Unless Northern light early 2000s is a sativa. Then that counts as one.Last time I saw real thai was almost 40 years ago. Maybe if the king legalizes it will come back.
Maybe you should.Yeah. Another 30 years should do it. Maybe I should smoke 2 ounces a day.
Wouldn't work. Literally every pack is an indica. Be like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles. I've tried growing about half a dozen. All were just okMaybe you should.
