Hello,I am new here and this is my 4th grow, usually get pretty good results with yield and quality.
never had problems except this time.
i am growing 2 seeds - barney's liberty haze and norden seeds pink bubble feminized.
1st 7 weeks veged outdoor at 16-18 hrs of light (14 hrs from the sun and the rest with some cfl's)
now im at week 2 of 14 natural hrs of sunlight and days getting shorter.
preflower has started,my 2 dense low bushes are beautiful after LST in veg.
regular potting soil and very very low amounts of organic ferts. (almost nothing)
outside peak temp is 30 degrees celsius - 88 degrees F. pretty hot and i keep'em shaded combined with direct sun on and off.
PROBLEM - STARTED NOTICING WHITE PISTILS TIPS ARE DRYING AND BROWNING (ATTACHED PIC) - SHOWN ONLY ON BARNEY'S
BUT ON PINK BUBBLE,PISTILS ARE OK BUT SYMPTOMS ARE SHOWN ON TIP OF THE TIPS OF THE UPPER NEW SETS OF SMALL LEAVES.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON ? (EXCEPT FOR THAT,PLANTS ARE VERY HEALTHY,NO BUGS,NO COLOR CHANGES....
THANK YOU

Might be some type of micro pest (e.g. russet mites) or there may be a male plant in the vicinity that pollinated your plant bro!

thx for replying - vicinity means what? 20 yards?100 yards? a mile? coz there is no male that i know of around the babes.

Pollen from a male can travel over a mile .... a plant being seeded that early can stunt the growth some!

Not in my experience. :)

@madafaka -- you mention something about new growth, but don't show what you're talking about. Have you read up on hemp russet and bulb mites?

Yeah male pollen can travel for long distances with the right winds. You might have a neighbor that hasn't yanked his males. MGG

Hold up ! Those red hairs on the " pre- flowers " are normal. They will turn early as they were the first to form.

As far as tips of leaves turning brown..... Ease off the nutes.

You look ok. Nice work. Best of luck.
