Will the foliar pack eliminate a whitefly infestation? I've got a number of flyers in veg here, been spraying them with the foliar pack and a little neem. Will this handle the problem or am I going to need to take more drastic measures and use an insecticide?

Also is it ok to mix the foliar/water solution with a couple drops of neem without harming the beneficials? I've been spraying the undersides and tops fully coating the plant. Gonna spray every couple days and see how it progresses, before I decide to spray something stronger.

yeah wait at least 4 days after applying the foliar pack before applying neem. Neem is a natural fungicide, foliar pack is predominately fungi.

And yes there are species which will help with whitefly. Just be thorough and consistent.

Damn I knew I should have just sprayed the foliar by itself but I was trying to kill two birds with one stone...

Good to know about the application if them both.

How often can I spray the foliar pack? Is it something I can spray every day or do I need some breaks in between?

You can spray it as much as you want, but unless you have a serious problem every 3 to 4 days should be just fine.

i am using the fp along with plus-c which is another microbial product and a little molasses. then using yucca as my wetting agent. no oils or chems! haven't seen really any now since I'm spraying every 3rd day :) also i am currently winning a battle with russet and broad mites that i was losing horribly now that i am using this recipe and spraying more often. also i bought an atomizer which has made a world of difference.

Just reporting back with my whitefly problem, now it's an infestation. When I started spraying OG Biowar foliar pack in the beginning of veg all through week three flower I was having success holding them back. Not killing them, just deterring the population from getting larger. To be completely honest, I don't even think the FP was necessary the water was doing a better job knocking them off and washing the plant. Anyway I was hoping the nice coating of bacteria would continue into mid/late flower to fight against any larva. Nope not a chance, I can see them breeding, eggs, larve, adults crawling all over the bacteria covered leaf. What gives? I've been giving OG Biowar a chance (3 kilos) for a while now but I'm kinda over it I don't see a difference using it.

Green lacewing larve and encarsia Formosa for now on with me when I have whitefly.

Get Conserve SC. Its the only thing that works for me because it kills ANY type of insect. I know its expensive, about $135, but you cant lose.

That sucks. Were you using the yucca extract as a surfactant? Paecilomyces fumosoroseus is the species that is supposed to work on whitefly.
