I have officially arrived in trim jail. Looks like I'll be here for a couple weeks. Just wanted to see who else is in trim jail and to send everyone some encouragement!!! Before you know it we'll be smoking good and may even get some winter tires lol. Hang in there and don't waste anything you scrape off those scissors

I will be on and off for the next month or so, starting in 7-10 days. Currently have one plant drying, have 3 more. Suspect to harvest one each week.

Good luck!

I was in trim jail a few weeks ago, have another 6 that have been drying for 1 week now so I'll be there soon again, then in about another month I'll be in trim jail again
Not trying to grow perpetual but seems like lately I'm having a harvest every 4 weeks.
Buying the ACI trim tray sped me up a little. I lay it on my lap and lay back on the couch. it's quite comfortable, especially when compared to being hunched over a table for hours.

I'm been considering buying a bowl trimmer for months now, I'm only worried about investing $100+ and the buds not coming out how I like.
I guess I could always touch up with some snips if need be.

I know you're an ACI fan, is that the brand bowl trimmer you use? If so, 16" or 19"?

I have found if you smoke everything you scrape off your scissors in a pipe, it goes even slower.

I keep a shot glass of 91% isopropyl alcohol next to me so I can dip my scissors in it and wipe it clean.
Fiskars with the black blades are by far the best scissors I've used, they keep cutting longer between cleanings and don't hurt my hand.
Plus they're readily available at Walmart and Lowes.

While I don't scrape my scissors and smoke it, I do not wear gloves. My fingers build up so much gunk, it literally peals off my finger in sheet and then I roll it all into a big ball as I go
I smoke some here and there or at least top a bowl with some while I'm trimming.

just saying,..
i have a couple of those fiskars used for yrs and other brands that are similar than i started felco stuff for outdoors than bought some for indoors and after using these it’s night and day compared to those fiskars and anything similar, everything about these is superior, its kinda funny as i laughed at myself saying wow everytime after using something made with quality and intelligence that you notice how bad the common junk really is,…
it’s these for trimming,.
