Everything I've read says sativa strains have small leaves on them. Well this plant has great big fat leaves . Was wondering if I got correct seeds

Is it Barney's Farm
Thank you sircould be a few things..
pheno, your environment etc
Without pictures it's impossible to judge anything of course, but all cannabis plants start up with relatively fatter leaves, new pairs of leaves progressively get thinner as the plants mature. It's not until flower when you will see how thin your plants' leaves get.
Lol I knew they were freaking huge, well I can say this about the seller. The first purchase did not sprout, well 3 out of 6 did not sprout. I called them up , they sent me 9 more seeds as refund. No problems at all, so I feel like they are legitimate. Now I'm thinking I'm gonna need a bigger area. Started 4, they are well into a month of veg. But this one in particular ,DWC is growing like a dam wild flower. Crazy as hell, never seen a plant grow so fast and so big.Thank you, that is quite broad for a pure sativa. There do exist broader leaved sativas, including mexicans and colombians so it's still possible they are authentic. You will have to wait til flower to find out.
A lot of seed sellers plain out lie about the lineage of their strains so this is a possibility as well. But I have never heard of this seller so I can't say.
The company taking responsibility for seeds that don't sprout and replacing them doesn't mean they are honest with their strain description and pictures. Again that doesn't mean you won't like the weed. Best of luck with them.Lol I knew they were freaking huge, well I can say this about the seller. Man I appreciate u looking that far into it, I'm pretty new at this. Ya I bought those just because I prefer a sativa and the good energy. I really hope it's not Indica Dom but as u can see it sure looks like I dicaAcapulco Gold Feminized Marijuana Seeds - The Seed Pharm

I just checked the seller's website and it clearly says it's a sativa-indica hybrid. The description of the strain is quite embarrassing as they are trying to pass the strain as a pure sativa landrace because if the name they gave it, but then they claim it's 80%sativa and 20% indica with a 24% THC which is just a ludicrous number for a landrace sativa. They are feminised as well so I would say this is one of these cases where the seller is trying to sell a strain as something else.
Doesn't mean you won't get killer weed from them, just dishonest descriptions as is usual in most of the industry sadly. The problem here is when people buy these seeds expecting a pure sativa effect, they get a strain that has been hybridised with Afghani to give it more bulk. This will most probably influence the effect making it less clean and more narcotic which is a no no for pure sativas. You can see in the picture the bud just looks like a regular hybrid like those by sensi for example. Not a pure sativa. One single picture of a bud is another reason to be wary of companies like this imo.

This is very common among the companies with decent customer service, although hardly an exploit considering the price they sell their fems at (8 - 20 €) vs the price they pay to the growers who make them (0.10 - 0.20 €), at least in Spain. It's the least they can do really, if you can provide proof of having purchased the seeds. Well organized companies should keep track of each seed batch and can easily see if one of them is failing to germinate.I never heard of a seed company sending more seeds to replace non sprouting seeds.
I've grown sativas that start out looking like indicas. It irritates me that they sell "Acapulco Gold" and it has indica genetics - that's not Acapulco Gold. That said, you won't really know if it's fire until you grow it. You're also probably going to see more sativa and less sativa in different phenos and might find a perfect mother i
Ya unfortanute about it not being what I ordered. But on the other hand I did get 9 free seeds. So I'll just take the good with the bad. Yeah. Without actual genetics markers we have no idea what we are buying.Thank you, that is quite broad for a pure sativa. There do exist broader leaved sativas, including mexicans and colombians so it's still possible they are authentic. You will have to wait til flower to find out.
