Looks to me to be mostly at the top of your plants. The further down you go, the better things look. I'd turn the light intensity down if it were mine. You may find out its been over-fed afterwards but turning your light down gives you a chance to mitigate the damage while you work through the other issues.every grow lately i've had 1 or 2 girls do this. at first i thought calcium but adding calmag did nothing. then i thought lockout because i feed full strength GH flora grow at 1150 ppm.
so after that i tried half strength and feed water water routine, but no change.
pro mix hp with ph'd feed, temps and humidity are premo, not over watering etc etc. several grows with exact same routine with no issues except lately.
all from seeds as there autos.
any idea why 2 or 3 out of 10 or so would do this?
just different seeds react different?
I've been growing for quite a while. Long enough to know how to keep a plant happy from start to finish. That doesn't mean every grow goes perfect. None really do. There's always something that could be improved. When it comes to cal-mag, I use it after my plants have been switched to flower. I use epsom salts during veg so I don't risk too much calcium. This works for me because I grow in soil, my water is hard and without this adjustment, I would frequently have calcium created lockout mid flower on. The trick is learning how everything in your own grow room reacts with each other. All environments are different.Sometimes I feel like it’s just the plant itself sometimes I had two of the same strains grow and they both required a lot of different needs due to deficiencies or just responded to nutrients better than others. I start to understand cloning a lot more, the more I grow hahaha but I would keep doing what you’re doing with the cal mag every other watering. Some plants are just a pain
Yeah, my first thoughts are light or heat as well.Looks to me to be mostly at the top of your plants. The further down you go, the better things look. This could very well be it. We have so many strains today because seeds, even from the same strain, can differ so much. Then those differences are selectively bred with other specific differences to give us our massive array of strains to choose from.any idea why 2 or 3 out of 10 or so would do this?

That’s true man, I’ve had a lot of runs myself and sometimes I still beat myself up in terms of expertise but no one’s perfect especially in nature. I’m 100 percent aware things can and will go left, that’s what I love about horticulture, the endless possibilities. Keep it up tho broI've been growing for quite a while. What are you using as your grow media. If you already said it, I'm sorry ... I'm old and stoned so I can be forgetful. lol Also your nutrients and nutrient routine. One plant is thriving. The other looks mal-nourished. Everything else is the same ... right? We'll find it.For example these two are the same strain from the same batch but are completely different. The one on the right suffered nitrogen and calcium issues and the buds are less potent so I’ve come to the conclusion that some are more prone to deficiencies and need a lot more care. The one on the left needed little to no care and did amazing.
The first one was a coco mix and the tall skinny was in regular soil i forgot the brand I use fox farms and Cronk nutrients. I used a heavier feed for the first plant they are (cheese autos) btw I think the main reason is because I had it mixed in with photos under their light schedule of 12/12 so it played a major part in the malnourishment. I was light feeding it. I usually feed once or twice a week depending on the plant and how much water it requiresWhat are you using as your grow media. If you already said it, I'm sorry ... @HighRollin4 let's do this. Start your own new thread. Post your pictures, everything about your grow media, environment, lighting. Everything in as much detail as you can. We'll sort through it. Others will help out too. It will be great .... trust me.That’s true man, I’ve had a lot of runs myself and sometimes I still beat myself up in terms of expertise but no one’s perfect especially in nature. temps are 20c (72f) to 26c (79f) lights off and on, humidity is 55 now and decreasing as they get closer to finish.Yeah, my first thoughts are light or heat as well.
@imgrowing You mention temp and humidity are good, but what are the exact ranges you have been dealing with? If they are ideal, then light intensity as mentioned by @RoadKillSkunkHunt is the most likely culprit.
there is only 2 girls out of 9 doing this, and this 1 is at the edge of the light. 2 sp3000 lights that are about 75%.
height varies but nothing to close, i forget what ppfd their at but it wasn't to much.
also leaves at the bottom are doing this as well, but not to this extent.
anyone think i should just feed these 2 with calmag?
yeah you might be right. when i cut feed in half the other girls are now showing n deficiency, so back up to full feed for them and life support nutes for these 2 for awhile. worse case i toss it.I could be wrong about this but to me, it looks over fertilized not under. Cal-mag won't help if you're already locked out. Honestly though, you've handled your feed routine and you're not exactly new to growing. I think in your case, I would follow my gut instinct if I were in your shoes.

picture because i took it
