I keep seeing pictures of people at 10 days or so with well formed plants. I'm at 13 days out and still mostly have a sprout. Wtf? What can I do to have better take off? My plants are in roots organic original and some worm castings. I try to keep humidity in the 60% range and temps high as possible
The tent is in a side room that's open. I have no way to efficiently heat the room. My temps range from 69 to 73 degrees. I have an under the desk oil heater that I will try to see how much it helps.

Yours seems like typical growth, more aeration can help the young roots grow faster only thing that I could add to help. But don’t over aerate

You see how tall they became thats because light is too weak.if light was better they would have stopped almost as soon as they went out of the ground.

How many and how big are the drainage holes in your cups? An amended soil like Roots Organic will tend to hold onto water pretty hard, and adding worm castings increases the water retention. Just an idea.

I personally stopped growing in plastic cups and changed to 1/4 gallon fabric bags. This helps with airflow to help with root zone growth and less restrictive. Makes it easier to uppot, just place them in and cut away the bag. Temps also are a little too low for veg, try and get to high 70’s and low 80’s with humidity around 65-68%.

I would say your growth is average at this stage.
These are my Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel at day 8.
I usually don't see faster growth until after I transplant out of the solo cups.

I will increase the light. It's a 450 watt o. 25%
Or place them a little closer to the light source. There should be a chart from the light manufacturer showing the light spectrum values at different distances. If you follow those guidelines you can optimize your use of your lights for happier plants.

I am a beginner, so, please keep this in mind. But, I really struggled with over-watering and I think it slowed my growth during the seedling stage.

Your medium looks fairly wet and it may be one root cause.

What I did to keep track of my watering,

- Bought a 10ml syringe to water.
- Weighed my pots.
- Wrote down the starting weight and only water when they came back to the starting weight.

I found I gave the plants 10ml-20ml every 3-4 days in similar sized pots as yours.

Maybe it's worth a try for your next grow to see if it makes a difference

Good Luck!

More light. Closer to the light. Bump your temps up just a bit. There don’t look too bad. Just a little stretching from not enough light.

Raise the temperature to 77F. Make sure PPFD is correct. Get um out of the solo cups and into a bigger container/pot.

I was told to keep light weak to take it easy on them at first. Next time I'll push the light harder.

I have 5ea 3/16"holes in the bottom. I dont do percentages when I make soil. I did put a decent amount of perlite in and it seems to drain fine.

They grow tall when they're not getting enough light. It's a good way to tell if they're not getting enough. It can be different for different strains or phenotypes, however.

Looks like you're doing everything right, but maybe they need a bit more warmth. Try raising the temperature—sometimes that’s just what they need to get a good start. Good luck, fingers crossed they start growing faster!
I put a heater in the tent and it's hanging in the high 70s

Wouldn't up potting still leave with damp soil? I have 2 choices. Up pot into 1 gal plastic pots or go to three gallon fabric. I have 2 gallon but I was hoping to grow them in the 3 gallon for my attempted scrog. Its difficult getting the plants out of fabric pots to up pot.

How big do you let them get before transplant?

Picture below shows plants at the size I transplant. I go right from the solo cups to 3 gallon.

I only transplant to a "middle" pot if I'm seeing any issues or if I over watered and issue doesn't seem to be going away. I will go from the solo cup to a 1.5-2 quart pot in those situations.
Transplanting into fresh medium can do a lot for a plant that's having issues, most the time it's all they need to get going.
I leave behind as much medium as I can when I transplant so it goes into mostly fresh soil/medium (moisture from the last pot stays behind), shaking the root ball will help break some of it off. I also like to "fluff" the roots before I plant them.
