Why does my Se3000 have my tent so hot?

I just upgraded to the Spider Farmer SE3000. Does anyone have any tips as far as heat control? My fan has been running non stop for about 2 days due to the amount of excess heat. I have 1 fan blowing in the pants and another fan blowing on the driver. I have it to where i don’t want it to go over 83F but it’s literally fighting off heat all day while the lights are on. This run is 2 purple Alaskan autos in a 2.7x2.7. I tried to put the driver outside the tent, it still got hot. Right now, I have it at 18 inches away from the canopy and the dimmer is set to 70%. I can’t even keep my humidity between 50-60 because it’s constantly sucking out hot air.

Well your outside tent temps are warm it looks like. Mine is about 67-70f i keep all flaps open and even leave the door opened 1/2way. My fan sits outside my tent and blows into the tent. May wanna try cooling down the room someway.

I am not qualified to give anyone advice on this subject, but you have your light running way closer and higher than I have mine... You might be able to dial the light down, which should help reduce heat? (I am running my SE5000 at 30% and it is currently 44" from the top of the canopy in my tent)

The other suggestion that I have seen people make to help with fighting high temps - run your lights during the nights, when it is cooler and have them off during the day.

Good luck with the grow!

That’s because I’ve been in and out of it trying to figure something out. it’s normally like 70-73 in here. I just put my inline fan inside to see what that does. At first it was outside

your fan should be able to change the whole box air in a few minutes soo you shouldnt really have any problems with overheating.
buuut have you tried putting the lights driver outside the box?

Have you tried to lower the intensity of your led panel to 50%... nothing forces you to be at the maximum of its power you're are not on flow ...and to raise it higher

What do you have as an air extractor?
Vivosun aerozesh 4inch fan. It was the recommended size fan for the tent even though it may seem small. And I have my light at 18 inches for the canopy. What should the intensity be? Im dealing with some fungus gnat larvae in my soil and im seeing light green tops. Im not sure if that’s them asking for more light? Nutrients? The issue has gotten better but I managed get rid of the adults. It’s just the babies and I think they are feeding on my roots. That’s why it may seem like I’m ramping it up to quickly. did a soil drench with some neem oil last night

Yep as it was still to hot. Could it be where I have my humidity sensor? Its directly under one of the panels, it’s 18 inches away but I’m considering everything

Personally for my 80*80*160 I use a 400m3/h extractor.... Is it at its maximum power? Maybe it's not powerful enough.

For soil flies, try to let the surface layer (2 to 3 cm) dry out between two waterings. Instead of watering from above, water your potted plants.
Or
Drenching consists of soaking the pot in a little water for about 1 hour so that the soil gets wet by capillary action.
Or
You will repot the attacked plant by removing as much potting soil as possible to eliminate these larvae and the eggs. Then clean the inside and outside of the jar thoroughly with black soap and water. Replace the entire substrate with a healthy potting soil. Black soap, useful in the home in many ways, can be used to get rid of sciarid larvae. Black soap, useful in the home in many ways, can be used to get rid of sciarid larvae.
Or
After watering your plants, use a sprayer to spray a 30-gram mixture of black soap diluted in a liter of water, directly onto the leaves and potting soil of your plants.

how much light are you getting on leaf height?
I’m not 100% sure. I don’t have a par meter. My lights are at 55% at 18 inches. Turning the lights down did solve my heat issue. It’s not super hot like it was. I know to go off of what the plant is telling you that it needed but the spider farmer instructions said veg light intensity was around 60-70%. I’m seeing so many different versions of instructions with this particular light so I’m everywhere at the moment

Par Meter app is fairly accurate and gives you a quick response. I would suggest moving your light approximately 36" away from the tops of your plants. They do seem to be developing light growth. I run the Spider Farmer 200's and keep my young ones about 28" away at 50% until they get larger and stronger. Your lights are stronger, but here is what the 200watt lights run at 18" and 55%

So maybe dial it down to 50% at 32"-36" from the plants, this will hopefully lower your temps and raise humidity back up. Hope this works out for ya bro!! 🤘🏼

Why so high? I thought for veg you supposed to lower it to hit increase PPFD. I’m doing a 20/4 cycle with these 2 so it’s not much night time. They cut on at 8 at night and usually from that point on up until like 10-11 am is pretty cool.

So I totally just realized that I’m stupid and it’s kind of common sense what’s going on. I’m looking at it and blasting it with light when I clearly see signs of bleaching. And some of the corners are burnt a bit, barely noticeable. I saw it yesterday but didn’t notice it until like 10 minutes ago. Yeah heat is not an issue anymore I don’t think. 24 inches away at 50%, stable 81-82F with 55 rh.
