Hi all , why would I have not many bud sites ?

Giving nutrients everyday , plants about 6 weeks old . Water to at least %20 run off possibly even more

Coco coir with 30% perlite.

Autoflowering sour 60 strain.

600watt led , 132watt real

My first grow

Is the light just shit and that’s why it never grew many bud sites ?

Lights running 18:6 all the time

I no pro at this mate but from what I can see everything looks good here, could have done with a bit of training but that’s not the end of the world. What’s your light distance from top of plant and lux if you have it?

Thanks mate , didn’t think training should be done with a autoflower ?

not sure on the lux , the details of light below. It’s 14inch from the top of the plant at the moment , lifted it slightly as the top leaves started to curl upwards

Looks like you have the light at correct distance. To get an idea of the lux/par your plant is getting download a light meter app on your phone. I think it’s just a waiting game now mate but your defo heading in the right direction. What’s your temps lights on and off? How often are you watering?

I don't have a definitive solution but I think I can help a bit.

That light isn't a very good light. The coloured diodes produce more heat and less light so that 130w would probably be enough if it only had white diodes but it's not enough with coloured. Since they run hot, they also need fans which use even more watts (probably at least 10 each) so that 130w light is losing about 1/4 of its energy to heat.

I'm not an expert with autos and have never grown one myself but I've talked to enough people who have them to know how they work. You can definitely train autos. What you are not supposed to do, is top or fim them. Training methods such as LST or scrog, don't stunt the plants so they are perfect for autos which have a short veg. Without training, the plants top bud sites tower over the others, shading them from most of their light. This gives you one big bud with a bunch of small buds. With training, you get only medium sized buds which will give you a much better yield.

There is no one answer but simply everything from genetics to every individual environmental factor to light.

Looks normal, just relax. Some strains don't bud as heavy as others.

IMHO the number of budsites is determined by how you train the plant before the hormones are set. Since it's an auto you only have so long to get the hormones evenly distributed before they go into flower.

Looks to me like you still have a little time left before the hormones are finalized. Tie down the top and the lower buds will get more energy.

It looks like you still have some time to do a little low stress training. Here's a purple punch Auto that I just started with low stress training on...
