So here we go this will be my cyber diary for this grow. I will try to keep it up to date, new pictures and all current stats for each post. If you happen to see anything that worries you feel free to speak up. I am always looking for wiser minds to help me grow the best herb to smoke. Thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoy the show.....I am in week 1 of bloom

White Fire OG, WiFi
GH 3 stage
Cal/Mag
GH Raw sweetener
hygroenzyme

Temp: 75-80
Water temp: 70-73
RH: 35-42%
1.6-1.8 EC
PH 6.0
CO2 1600ppm every 4hrs
4 600w HPS on movers

plants are looking healthy and growing tall and bushy. This is also the first time that I have ever used CO2 so any tips are appreciated.

I generally use around 1200-1300 ppm co2 in my sealed roooms. Looks good. Bump the humidity some for better vpd is something id consider

In veg and until week 3-4 of flower i try to hit 70% then down to 50 after. Equipment is your best friend. Refer to "vpd chart"

Week 3

So I have brought the RH up to 45% consistent
PH 6.0
Ec 1.7, 2.1 highest
Temp 72-84
Water temp 60-74
CO2 1200ppm 4 times per day

Seeing more branching and dealing with a nitrogen deficiency, plants are sucking up nutes its crazy. Hopefully corrected the issue early enough we will see. Have my 12on 12off going 9pm-9am so haven't been able to update diary everyday. Kicking myself for making me work graveyard shift.

I did no C02 through veg, started in at 1400 first week and have brought it down to a steady 1200ppm 4 times a night, every three hours thereabouts for 30min then clear room and repeat.

Here we go
DAY 26 week 4 Bloom
ppm_1100
Temp(room, water)_64-74F H2O 72f gets up there when the CO2 generator comes on.
CO2- coming in at a steady 1200ppm checked just after generator goes off.
at opposite side of the room.
RH-45-55%
So there is some issues that I could use some input on. I will post the pics first and let everyone have at them.

so my biggest concern is the roots. I haven't had roots look this bad and the plant do so well so I just don't know what to make of it. I am using OGbiowar and Hygrozyme to help with my roots. My next concern is the patches that I am getting on my fan leaves. I don't think that the humidity and heat are bad enough to cause mold, and I don't even know that that is what is on my leaves. Weird. Any thoughts on the deficiencies that I am seeing and root....tips would be very helpful.
And so concludes day 26

damn bro, just scrolled through ur last couple pics and i saw, some sort of lockout/deficiency, unhealthy roots, and powdery mildew. Your water temps are a little high, u need to get them below 68. looks like u picked up clones that have had Powedery mildew. those white spots are just the beginning, once u give it the right enviro, shit will explode. the yellowing in the leaves is also not a good sign, might be a result of ur root health. when roots start browning out, they loose on cation exchange capacity - places on ur root system that absorb nutrients. with the lack of this, you will start to see deficiences and even lock outs. i would address ur root problems and ur Powdery mildew right away. Try running H202 through ur system to help break down the anerobic bacteria thats growing on ur roots and in ur system. OG biowar is legit, but this is going to need more then beneficial bacteria/fungi to get this back on the right track in a quick scenario. fix these issues and shit should start looking up. much luck. I'd do what ya can to raise humidity for next round like Midwest said. And like skuna said, your res should not be warmer then 68°. Also, I think a flush with ro water then just run your base nutrient at like. 3-.4 ec until you start to see new growth. Personally I top out at an ec like that. But like they say, there's more than one way to skin cat.

DAY 36, WEEK 6

TEMP: LOW 65 HIGH 73
WATER TEMP: 68-69
CO2 IS 1600 STEADY THROUGHOUT THE 12hour CYCLE(BABIES ARE EATING UP NUTES LIKE A FAT KID WITH CAKE)
PH: 6.0
EC: 1.2 DROPS DOWN .4 OR MORE EVERY NIGHT.
PPM:840
GH 3 STAGE MICRO, BLOOM, GRO 1/8 STRENGTH
GH: NECTAR(SWEETENER)
CAL/MAG
HYRGOZYME
OGBIOWAR FOLIAR, ROOT EVERY OTHER WATER CHANGE.

H20 CHANGE EVERY WEEK

BEEN FIGHTING ROOT ISSUES BUT MY BABIES ARE BACK ON TRACK WITH SOME LONG NIGHTS AND TENDER LOVING CARE. SPENT SOME TIME HITTING THE ROOTS WITH H2O2 BEFORE APPLYING BENNIES. CLEAN EM THEN RELEASE THE HOUNDS THAT'S WHAT I SAY. SEEMS TO BE HELPING QUITE A BIT. ALL THE FUNK FROM MY EARLIER PHOTOS IS GONE AND THE NEW GROWTH IS LOOKING GREAT. WILL STILL BE DOING MAINTENANCE ON THE ROOTS AT WATER CHANGE. BUDDING UP REAL NICE. CO2 IS GREAT FOR ADDING EXTRA NODES ON MY PLANTS. ALMOST THROUGH WITH BLOOM AND HAVE 60 MORE BABIES CRYING TO BE LET OUT OF THEIR CRIB....PICS TO FOLLOW IN A FEW DAYS WHEN I HAVE THE TIME.

Oh man having I hate having issues that slow my babies down. So I am a week away from harvest and the buds are finally looking grrrrreat. Of course I haven't gotten around to taking some pics but before I chop down I will get the final photo shoot done. I have 60 wifi going in after I am done in a week and I happen to have their day 2 veg/stretch picture going into another diary edition....hopefully I can get some time to get weekly updates into that diary.

did I happen to mention that I have ended up having harvest on Valentines day....The ladies say I'm an idiot, I say mad genius...."sorry honey I have to work all day and night this valentines day, but I love you" muahhhhhahaha

Your water is too hot and hygrozyme is dwc root rot in a bottle. Room temp too low for co2. PH too high . co2 is too high. Ppm in water too high . humidity too low

Sorry for the crappy post, wish there was something to compliment :(

No worries dude I realized quick that my temps were to high in the water. I actually moved the chiller into a spare bedroom on the other side of the wall to keep it away from any surrounding heat. While I was dealing with the hot water I was throwing H2O2 in to keep the roots from dying off. All in all for the troubles that these clones have had I am pretty happy that I will have a crop to harvest. I will also be taking 2 days after harvest to make some changes to the room that should, I hope keep the environment more stable. Out of curiosity what would cooler room temps have to do with CO2? I wasn't aware that having cooler room temps would affect CO2 uptake. All I have read is that CO2 helps with warmer water temps and hotter rooms, not that the room should be that hot when using CO2. What am I missing? Foodoo you can't hurt my feelings I'm a big boy and even though I sound proud of this run I am far from happy with this crop, just happy I made it through.

@Bombnes hope you don't mind me dropping some links and images. I'll start at the top of your list and work my way down. I only internet on mobile so please bear with me.

73 is too cold for a co2 injected room. You want above 75. 86 max 78-82 ideal. If you're running carbon scrubbers, you'll have to stay towards 75-76 because rh has to stay below 65% for them to work properly. This is VPD. We'll get into that later.

Here's my room

A secondary hygrometer in the plant canopy reads 80.

But don't take my word for it, here's a thread with MASSIVE amounts of facts and proven studies with information cited from books.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=221893

From that link "
but the commonly found ideal temp range is ~82-86'F, and that's with CO2 supplementation and very bright light." -spurr

However, taking vpd into account, rh would be way to high to run at 82-86 so 79-81 is far better .

Taking vpd into account, you DO NOT WANT A BIG TEMP AND RH drop with lights off. Its just false information passed along for decades. My room drops to 73 but I may even lesson the drop. That number will be decides by if I want a .8-1.0 kpa vpd or a carbon scrubber play it safe vpd of 1.25 kpa both night and day. Which would mean same exact temp and rh lights on and off

Source of that information
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=195058

Quote "ideal VPD (i.e. 0.8-1.0 kPa) and close to ideal VPD (1-1.25 kPa) while keeping ADT (Average Daily Temp) high (ex. > 70'F) and keeping RH below ~65%, which is important for growers who use carbon scrubbers (they don't work once RH is ~65%+).

If a grower doesn't use a carbon scrubber than they should shoot for VPD of ~0.8-1 kPa for veg and ~1 kPa for flowering. But if they have a carbon scrubber than they should shoot for ~1.25 Kpa all the time." -spurr

Much better. My water never sees a second over 68 even in 24/0 1k mh veg

Bombnes said:

This is probably by far the worst thing you're doing to your plants.

In reference to the last link I posted with multiple studies on co2.
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=221893

Anything over 1100 is detrimental. You want to stay 900-1000 with 1100 being max.

I have mine set to 900 with a 25 deadband

At night, that number needs to come down. Ideal is around 500.

If you can't bring night time co2 down , running something around 700 night and day is acceptable

"Night time CO2 should be < ~500 ppm, unless one is trying to reduce dark respiration and stretch, then upwards of 750 ppm can be used for short periods (otherwise leaf chlorosis can set in)." -spurr

Which by the look of your pictures, looks like exactly what happened.

PH is way too high. I'm using same nutes as you.

Source for why lower pH is better

As you can see on the right, micros are beat absorbed at lower pH and bottle neck at 5.8. At 5.3 you get good intake of npkmgca and all the micros too. I stay between 5.3-5.5

Bombnes said:

I run same line and 840 is too hot of a mix. Things burn around 750

Bombnes said:
GH 3 STAGE MICRO, BLOOM, GRO 1/8 STRENGTH

I use same thing. No idea what u mean by 1/8 strength. You should start with 5ml-5ml-5ml as your base

Source https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=181405

Quote "By the way, GH 1:1:1 three part nutrient ratio @ 5 ml per gallon:

N - P - K - Mg - S - Ca

111 - 33 - 136 - 30 - 15 - 81

That's awfully close to Bredermann's study results (1945) in the first chart above." -Carl carlson

From here, the goal would be to get P up a smidge. Anywhere from 33-60 would be nice , then mg has to be 1:1 to p so mg would need to be raised from 30 to closely match the 33-60p. And since ca is best at 3:1 on mg, that would have to get bumped to 90-180 depending on mg and p.

Rest is golden

If you're using RO. You should stay sterile and not use bennies. I add in pool shock solution (1 g hth pool shock per gallon ro) only once at 2ml per gallon into the system at a tank change since ro has had chlorine removed.

I have a garden that I water and there is a median with some bushes that weren't doing to well so I use the "waste" to get my neighborhood looking good........I only say that cause as I am typing that is the last thing you said....I hope you don't mind but I may end up asking you questions now....possibly lots....
