One of my plants went from 20" tall when I flipped to now almost 60" tall and about 3 or 4 inches from touching touching the light. Is it a sure thing my buds will bleach or could they be good? Is there anything preventative I should do? I am running a rdwc set up with an ACI EVO 10 light at 7 right now and just finished week 4 of flower. The plants aren't showing any light stress from what I can see and understand. The parts close the the light look fine and the other 3 plants in there are not in danger of getting close at all, but just don't know what I should do. Hoping I don't go in there tomorrow and they are touching the light. Crazy thing is when I flipped 3 of the 4 plants were the same size, now all 3 are way different.

something is off here
too much stretch? too much spacing?
with this mols they shouldn't stretch like this
I am also under 1000W 😉

can you do photo of all plants in set up?

Lights are off right now, everything seems to be fine and dandy though. I had my vent pop off for a bit earlier in the week and had a spike in temp and humidity for a short period. My nute PPM is at 1200, PH at 6 and neither are fluctuating but my 4 plants are drinking about 4 gallons of water a day out of the RDWC system. The other 3 plants are the height I was expecting. This plant in the back all throughout the grow was much larger and faster growing then the other 3 and by far. I had to smash it down for 2 weeks while 2 of the other 3 caught up. That was useless lol.

The stretching in the first 3 weeks of flower is something many people dont expect. Are they different strains? If not, it happens too with seeds sometimes. Next time use the net to level the canopy. You can pass the tall branches horizontally through the net as they grow and they will create top buds from secondary buds. More colas.
Your biggest tops will certainly burn under that much light but it might not show yet. You can try to see what happens and if the leaves on top start getting burnt tips or edges dimm the lights a bit before it bleaches your buds.

I’d just knuckle em down super cropping I think they call it just roll the stems between your fingers forcefully but not so bad they break then just lay them long stems over?
I'm not a huge fan of supercropping but this is one grow that would benefit, greatly. Bend them towards any open spots in the canopy, I go a step further and make a little S hook and tie them to the netting

All Moby Dick from seed, I did use the net and it was even with 2 out of 3 of my other plants. I was accounting for it to double in size for the stretch but not triple. I wasn't sure if bending them over would stress it out too much at this point.

it will but better that than marshmallow 🙃
use the net to LST. gently but firm
by saving few that reach to the light you will give less light to your proper level- less buds there
those lights are pretty powerful 😉 seen people doing nice toasty toasty on them 🤟

At this point it might, the stems might be too firm already. How many weeks into flower are you? After 3rd week of flower they stop growing so if you bend them they wont grow upwards again.

I just finished the 4th week of flower.

Too late for training then, but you can do it next time. If you do it as they grow it will be easy, they will bend.

I really can't give you advice on this subject because I'm right there with you as some of my main branches are a foot taller than the main canopy and I'm also worried that I'll have to raise the light too high for the majority to save the few. I am also considering supercropping, but the branches like to snap in half right now (happened to multiple bud sites yesterday during a leaf strip event). Still might have to give it another try. I actually am thinking about tying a string to each of the cola tops and getting them to start leaning over. Then start gradually pulling harder and harder later on.???

I tried anyways, bent them down at the net and it only took about an hour for the ends to ve bending up towards the light again. My canopy on this grow is absolutely fucked anyways. The one corner that looks like there is nothing in it has a 2.5ft tall plant next to what was a 5ft tall plant. It just wouldn't grow fast at any stage but the buds are already looking to be the frostiest.
