I’ve removed the seed from the fallen over one (I think I handled it too much) gonna let the whiter one grow a bit more before I try taking it’s seed off.. must’ve planted too shallow.. tell me are they damping off? Please tell me I didn’t fuck these up :(
day 1-2 seedlings when I look online look way better.. is it because I’ve kept them in the shade since I planted? Should I put in direct sun now? It’s outdoor btw autoflower
i don’t think over watering was the issue either as I made sure to use very little. hoping To leave them in the sun now and just let them do their thing

Time will tell .. seedlings will go crazy stretching for light.. I would get them in the sun and keep them moist. I pretty much water with a spray bottle couple times a day, for the first couple weeks. Good luck bro

Ok I did 3 more 1 is about to break the soil and looks way healthy!, so I should mist the topsoil everyday as it dries? I just put the germinated seeds in.
noticed even the 1 hour of direct light from the sun the pots get the top 1/4-1/8 of soil dries quick! And they want that so the roots can grow at first right? I was worried misting would make it get over watered..
do I still want to water it every 2-3 days as well though? Starting with 50mil - 100m and slowly increasing?

When starting seeds in soil I usually go with a much smaller starter pot. I actually use a 72 cell flat. The smaller amount of soil allows you to saturate when watering and reach that sweet spot of moisture more often, and keeps your growing medium fresh. Then if you step up through a couple container sizes before your final pot it allows you to build a hearty root ball. Where when you plant in a large container from the start your roots will shoot straight to the bottom leaving a lot of the soil in the top of the pot unused.. Did you saturate your pots before planting. If not, I would, and let them sit for a day or two and dry a little before planting.

If the soil is dry it's going to be a problem. The growing media must all be of the same consistent levels of moisture.

Yeah I saturated with a small amount of water and the rain just helped for some more today.
I find my top soil dries very quick probably due to not enough saturation.. also they’re tiny seedling in peat pellets in the middle of the pot so maybe I just keep spraying/saturating the pot when I notice the sides/top is dry?

And yeah I’m not worried about the soil being dry on the outside edges though cause of how small my roots are. since it rained a bit today Im Gonna stop misting/waterinv for 2-3 days and watch how it all reacts, top soil, edges and inner most part of the soil
as long as this seedling sees growth in the next 24hours though I will have succeeded past my other failure. Wish me luck!

kinda hard to see heh
gosh I hope all goes well!!!
