This is the new method of micro planing I’m trying out. Got a 7 dollar coffee bean grinder. Works pretty good! Haven’t seen this around yet. Prolly already posted about.

Yes it’s just a small bit. Probably less than a couple grams. Off the first batch of trim. Sour diesel. Would have used a few more seconds on the video if I had remembered to put the brush in the freezer to cool it down before scraping out the can. It was easier to put it back in and brush it out in the freezer.

I got a bigger lump to try soon. Have to wait for the first tries to dry out. Freezer real estate.

Well,,,,, it didn’t work well. I tried a bigger piece. Had a frozen gob that was 19 grams. Broke it into two pieces one being 8 and the other being 11. Was going to use the 8 gram because it was the smallest. Got a bit greedy and threw both in the can. It started good. But kept shaking and trying to get a couple last pieces ground. It ended up warming up and sticking in the can partially. Guess the trick is to grind it a little bit, dump it out, put it back in the freezer real quick. Get the little unground pieces later.
