Williams Wonder is a heavy hitting indica with robust flavors. Flavors in range from, honey, flowerey bouquet, citrus. I can't really remember the rest. What I remeber was tasting super flavor. There have been bud i've smoked with real flavor in the joint like jack herer, durban poison, bluberry kush, og fire (lemon pledge pheno). And there are more, of course. But this is just to say...i've had amazing smelling bud all sorts of scents from licorice to sewage (black domina) was odd lol smellt like sewage. You know blueberry muffins, froot loops, black pepper, cotton candy list goes on...we know.
When i smoke them in a joint, i don't taste what i smelled.
Some strains like og kush have a subtle but noticeable taste earthy metallic lemon with a thick smoke... But sometimes you find a fuel pheno or even better a lemon pledge pheno. In some cases the taste follows through on the whole joint, or in a bong. Whereas, sometimes you can have a lemon pledge scented bud, however the joint or.bong just tastes of thick heavy smoke...maybe some taste.
I went to a dispensary near me, 5 different ones...i bought like 10+ strains...not one had taste on the follow through smoke.
Sometimes you get taste for the first few tokes then its gone.
I remember bubblegum being a flavorful smoke...tasted identicle to pink bubblegum the whole joint through.
Williams wonder was the same this way only, with the most beautiful flavors. Now I'm remembering a bit lol. Cream undertones with overlays of honey and flowers...a certain dank in the background with some skunk appeal. Berry's blended in the end as well. Not much berry tho.
I had williams wonder crossed with island sweet skunk it was ridiculous...a tangy potent acrid perfumy haze with lemoney orange cream... That was on thr nose the taste was remarkable. I truly want to recreate this cross...the bag appeal was i can't even explain it was orange red slight purple maroone weed no green at all lol the actual vegetable matetial. light yellow hairs slightly foxtailed buds.
A friend gave it to me and said " hey man i got this weed but i think theres something wrong with it like its been sprayed."
I looked at it and inside i said "holy shit." Then i said to him, "no man this is just reeeally good weed." Best ive seen in my life hands down.
I can understand why he thought something was different about the marijuana... Gosh when i smelled it...it was the best smell ive ever smelled in my life.
A womans perfume i would compare it to, a fine light flowery one.
Anywho, sorry for my heartbreak story as thats what it is due the fact tthat cut, that seed being gone.
I had williams wonder from sickmeds and i frigged them up ( heavy regret).

Question: is willy's wonder the same as williams wonder?
Second question: are any breeders in possession of real williams wonder seeds?
Third question:
Any breeders out there working with williams wonder?

I'm hoping to find some seeds. Thanks in advance for any help. I am so hoping the strain makes a reappearance. I missed the boat on this one with sickmeds, what can i do!??? I've resorted blue magoo bx2 as its a solid gene holder of the williams wonder but im hoping to find the real deal...or hoping willy's wonder IS williams wonder or darn close enough where i might find the pheno i described.
Thanks farm, best growing forum...(shhhhh) learned almost everything i know here.
Much love.

I grew it from a clone given to me by some pro growers. It was a heavy yielder but didnt come close to the overall quality of the other stuff in my room. It was a weird one though in the sense that some people REALLY liked it and would choose it over anything else everytime, but they were few and far between. For the most part I could hardly give the stuff away otherwise. Maybe one of those perceptional difference like cilantro...?

But it kinda goes to show how much stock you can put in a name these days. Names of classic strains means nothing to me anymore as the vast majority of classic strains being sold as seeds arent what they say they are. An outfit in Canada did genetic testing on bubba kush from around 2 dozen legal producers not long ago to compare their genomes and found they were almost all completely different genetically, not even from the same lineage. As far as I'm concerned these days, weed is good or it's not. Names are just hype to sell a product. GSC is a great example. Does anyone really know what it is supposed to taste like straight from the cookie fam farm? lol, I know I dont. Some probably do but that's not the point.

This so true and exactly my thinking about strains aswell. The name dossent mean anthing anymore. Either its good plant or its bad plant.

I am pretty sure I have seen some breeders working with Williams Wonder, unfortunately I couldn’t tell you which ones specifically. Try the interwebs, something should pop up to at least give you a lead on where to look. I am always a fan of starting with the guys who are solid breeders and enjoy working with older genetics, Bodhi, Duke Diamond and others. I hope you find what you are looking for; I know what it’s like to no longer have access to your personal favorite variety after having regular access.
