Biggest problem u got is the built in thermostat on the unit to register the tent temps. You could purchase a separete thermostat controller that would turn off or on the unit

Not all units have temp controllers built in, in the most basic form... you'll build a box around the ac with cold air vents left exposed... the box has to be a few inches bigger then the ac an you'll need both an intake to inside of the box as the ac's need to suck in an circulate air within the unit other it'll over heat an blow hot air... you'll also need to make an exhaust for the hot air they generate out the back of the box an vented away... If the ac is not hanging out of a window, what do you do about the water that leaks out of the back?
