Wishbone’s Outdoor - Round 2

Rest of the blues came down, Stardawg is next on the chopping block, maybe this weekend. Moments before the ax. Lovin those colas. You can get a lot of sugar leaf keif. They look very dense.

That’s only half the plant too, with all the biggest colas cut a week ago.

Stardawg came down today, just the five 9#s left.

Pulling the Stardawg really opened up some light to the back 9#, which I haven’t really been able to get to of see for the past month or two lol. While they are clones, this one has a very different appearance, it is much darker green still, weird 5 finger leaves and funky bud formation, BUT it is frosty as hell! Way more so than the other 4, even the fans are frosty at the bases, and it has a slightly different aroma, a bit more diesely than the others which have a sweet earthy tone.

That Stardawg has got stacks like my banana. It's a b*tch to trim that kind of bud without chopping off it's dangles. I "really" don't mind because I have a lot of experience trimming and I actually like to do it. Buds have a pattern to them and my OCD loves patterns.

That 9# has some funky cool nuggs. They look really tasty. Make sure you collect the kief off those b*tches. That is some deep snow.

I don’t mind trimming too much either, get in the zone and go to town, but yeah lots of leaf in it.

I’ll get some pics of the other 9# plants tomorrow, they are all very similar and very frosty, but not as much as this one. This one is the one that was stunted in the summer heat, not sure if that had anything to do with the funny formations and structure.

Also have the indoor underway, mixed up my soil, started with the trainwreck plants soil and a 15 gal from a Stardawg male that sat most of the summer unoccupied, amended that with Down to Earth goodness, then mixed in oatmeal and mycorrhizae and watered with a myco/molasses brew. Also added a fair amount of perlite, the soil I ran in the greenhouse was much too dense and wasn’t draining the way I wanted it too, should be much better now.

Popped 7 Flo x Jet Fuel, they all have tap roots emerging within 48 hours.

They’re almost there, trichs are still looking good, but a bunch of white hairs still. Cold Rain and Snow coming in for Halloween, probably bring them down then.

I know, loving it.

Stardawg and the Blueberry are done and canned, about 7 oz a piece. Blueberry came out like crap, very fluffy leafy bud and lost its nice aroma just like last year. Stardawg is much better and has the same wonderful earthy diesel aroma but fluffier than last years version, whatever they were pollinated by had a negative effect on both strains. Will not be running any more of the seeds that came out of last years crop.

Stardawg.

Pulled the 9#s yesterday, weather held out better than expected so let them ride a bit, but they aren’t getting enough light now to keep things moving along, got a tree that is casting shadows during the peak of the day, so they got the ax. Going to keep the canopy in control next year and add some supplemental lighting for the few hours of shadows that cover the greenhouse midday.

Here’s what the odd one looked like, almost like reveg, not sure what happened with it, not going to be a great yield on that plant.

Greenhouse harvest is complete and canned, just under 3 pounds total, about 7 ounces from each of the large plants and 4 oz from the 3 TWs, plenty of herb for the foreseeable future.

I dubbed the 9#hammer X GSC the 9#Cookie, here is the final product.

And the mutant I’m calling 9#Cookie #5, much frostier but not very dense and not much smell.

Indoor run is underway as well, 8 Jet Fuel x Flo in a 4x2 tent, 3 gal pots of a soil that has been cooking for the past 2 months, currently baking under a 400w Apollo MH. They are 5 weeks from seed drop, will be Main-lining them with the first topping in a few days, hoping for 3 or 4 females. The smaller two are 2 weeks behind.

Been a minute, we’re three weeks into flower, running 2 400w hps in the tent. Seeds turned out to be femmed, but are herming on me unfortunately. Since I don’t have anything else going, just been picking balls and hoping for the best. Culled the two smallest ones, for six plants blooming.

I wasn’t successful in keeping the manifold even and ended up with a branch or two on each plant that was lagging behind the others, so I chopped the to make more room. Now have 32 colas on six plants, I’m afraid I may have trimmed a bit too much below the net as they seems to have stopped stretching but time will tell, lots of learning going on with this first indoor run.

Pics are from the past 2 months.

Thanks man, but yeah, led is in the future for next winter when I’ll be moving the tent indoors where I can’t deal with that much heat. These lights were cheap/free, and the heat is actually needed right now, the garage is getting down to the low forties on cold nights/days.
