I'd actually looked into this a little bit, a while back. As far as I can remember, the only possibly negative aspect I'd seen brought up is the moral issue of putting worms in a situation that would probably kill them. If you're ok with worm murder, I'm thinking I saw people suggesting red wiggler worms, since they supposedly tolerate higher temperatures than the average nightcrawler.If I put earth worms in my soil would they eat my plant? I'm planning on putting coffee grounds n eggshells in my soil, but idk if the worms would eat that or not. Also any tips for new grower, much appreciated :)

Thinking of trying worms this winter/spring for castings but I ain't paying for any shit.
I got time. I have 100 lbs+ of raw horse manure in black plastic bags for over a month waiting for a box. Ready for fall crops. Nasty stuff today but in a couple months? Look out!Paying for it being composted.
