Sound interesting, i have also heard that charcoal is also beneficial for bacteria n carbon for the plants, is this true?

yes charcoal, because of the carbon would be good for the soil, doesnt mean you can start throwing burning wood in there.

your own compost bin is the best thing for your garden, and your secret garden

Can roots uptake carbon? I always thought this was all done by the intake of Co2 and the output of O2?...greedy plants keeping my carbonated air!
