Thank youGreat looking plants for the upcoming weather. Plenty of open areas for airflow and with vertical flower presentation the rain will roll off.
Shake em off after a rain. Temps are fine the plant is ready for it.
Sit back and watch all the bugs die.
Good point. At this time in the grow damage from winds is a thing. The temps won't hurt but if you expect winds or heavy rains you might wanna anchor them both down. Branches being ripped off happens to me here in sunny so cal with the afternoon ocean breeze we get about 10 miles inland. I've got a 7' Mother's Milk that's lost 3 branches this week.
First off, NOT KNOCKING YOUR LADY todays pics are this season So I have to ask..thats tripping did you deleaf your lady? I have pictures from about 18 years ago when I used to do that. The temps won't hurt but if you expect winds or heavy rains you might wanna anchor them both down. Yeah I think you’re on the wrong post ?I believe you responded to the wrong grower

I rarely remove leaves other than topping young plants

and have been growing way too many trees the past few years
Matter of fact I'm planning on making 2 more 8 x 12' greenhouses this winter and start flipping plants at about 2 months from seed pop instead 4 or 5 months. Honestly they'd be a lot easier to deal with bug wise and manicuring wise and im getting too old for trees.
I've got a greenhouse on order because I not able to use my Polly tunnel on my allotment anymore because to many eyes about now .I believe you responded to the wrong grower

I got my large greenhouse, 8 x 16' free from a neighbor who had it sitting doing nothing for years. Probably a couple thousand new. For the new ones im thinking of using a simple 3/4" PVC sch 40 pipe frame and covering with a non-clear plastic between 6 - 10mil thickness and replace the plastic twice a year.I've got a greenhouse on order because I not able to use my Polly tunnel on my allotment anymore because to many eyes about now .
I've been as bit worried about getting my girls to finish line because the weather is changing rapidly in my part of England,it's chucking it down and looks to be forecast for next week as well, but my 7ft kush just going into flower ,so I'll have her in greenhouse and if needed I'll put a light above her if needed ,
Like the look of your greenhouse set up ,what lights are you using? Any tips on setting up ? Be grateful.
Your trees look just fine
Thats what I'm going to do,get some pvc and make a frame and wrap it ,but like you say it's best to take your time and do it right, that green house looks great ,looks like it's got many years left .I got my large greenhouse, 8 x 16' free from a neighbor who had it sitting doing nothing for years. Most of the plastic film sold as "clear" is not clear and will work for obstructing what's inside but still allow the sun to work it's magic.
I've just be thinking about the new greenhouses the past few weeks and haven't put any design ideas on paper as yet but this is how I'm wired, I get an idea, I think about it over a few days/weeks, start talking with others about my idea and steal anyone else's ideas that fit and then measure the area and write it all out with drawings. I usually think about it for another few days/weeks before I actually do it. Ive found I build a lot better and longer lasting things when I take my time and work out any problems in my head first.
I built this one

Over 10 years ago. I use to re-wrap it twice a year as the sun destroys the plastic within 8 months or so. That tree next to it is now leaning into it by about 2 feet so I need to cut the tree down. But the new ones will be open on the ends (I don't need doors) and instead of an A frame I plan on 5.5' sides with one rail 7' high down the middle. Hard to explain and easier to see once I draw it out.
There's a wealth of ideas on diy greenhouses online. Take some time and look around. That's what I did before designing and building this one
agree, Im in the UK and ive put a plastic greenhouse round 1 of mine (its just started budding) and the other i have bought inside..i wasnt going to grow anymore inside but this one started so well ive go to try an keep her going. BandM are selling these for £10 at the momentI've got a greenhouse on order because I not able to use my Polly tunnel on my allotment anymore because to many eyes about now .

They will probably be ok they aren't super leafy. What I did to prep was mixed recharge, black strap mollases and green leaf kelp together and gave 2 gallons a piece. The little pm they had went away. Soil health is huge, I grow mine in groundI have one plant that is over 12 ft tall in flower, harvest is around the end of September early October if I can go that long, I also have a 5ft plant that’s not as far along as the my 12ft one. The temperatures are dropping down to 46 at night going back up to 76 during day and we are also called for rain in a couple days. I’m not sure what to do, part of me wants to just let them be, thinking everything will be fine. But I’m also worried about frost or mold. my plant is so tall I don’t know how to cover it, I was thinking a clear tarp an kinda put like a post in the middle of my plant like a tp ? This a picture before I took some leafs off an netted it an after netting. Thank you
