that is not correct that whole set up is around 300 and if i buy a light a fan and a tent it would be over 300 if i got them separateBad deal, don't get blurple lights. Plenty of lighting threads on here with some good suggestions, you should definitely do some more reading and researching before making a purchase. The combo/kit prices are also generally more expensive than if you bought each item separately.
yeah i can say those are advantages... but i feel there are more disadvantages like stability, diggin in by the roots and taking them in out risks damage which leaves em open to infection, water depth swings daily, ph swings, nutrient imbalances and most of all a lot more work. I do agree ideally its good to understand the difference and appreciate the difference and you get to be more up close and personal with the plants. But i find that novelty wears off pretty quick once the initial buzz goes and it becomes work.It is true, 4 buckets is 4 times the daily work of rdwc or ebb and flow.
But for newbies, the addage "all eggs in 1 basket" carries great weight.
From personal experience, it helped me learn. You get more hands on time daily. When there is a problem, you have other plants to compare it too. Did you mess up and let 1 bucket go too low ph? Do you see the difference. But best of all, you can easily pick em up and take them out for inspection and study. Easier to keep clean. Get root rot cause water temps got too high? Now only 1 plant impacted.
I feel like until you do DWC it's hard to appreciate the value of the other systems.
I agree they will grow some great bud. Once you get a little more advanced i feel there are slightly better options but its not gonna be the absolute night/day difference some think and you usually pay a lot more for a little bit of gainYes it is.
Blurples are not bad.
I'm in the southern us and just want 2 or 3 plants thinking that should keep me high and happy lol yes I have to worry about smell and can't vent out a window but can cut a whole for a vent or if I had a tent just vent it out in the room the tent is in in summer heat will be an issue as in winter cold will be one so I will have to work around that
