Just found this site and I have to say I am stoked to see such an active Colorado section.

i agree this is one of the more active colorado forums and it is awesome!

Colorado Def has this joint on lock. Fellas are blowing it up out there.. Im envious of the scene out that way, being from the east coast..

Welcome! Just FYI there's a ton of info here. Recommend doing a little reading before asking a question. A lot of questions have already been answered. For the most part, we're a friendly lot but some questions have been asked over & over again. We need a CO FAQ sticky here but so far no one has stepped up to the plate.

Where around CO are you (i.e. - Denver Metro, Western Slope, etc...)?
Are you a patient, caregiver, MMC worker, etc?

Again welcome!

Where around CO are you: Aurora
Are you a patient, caregiver, MMC worker: Patient

Thanks for the welcome.

Forgot to add I am growing a single plant under CFL's in a deep water culture system. I buy my hydro stuff from Aurora Hydroponics and my meds from preferred organics<<<Awesome place!

How are the prices @ Aurora Hydro compared to the Big Tom?
I've tried to go there but everytime I go they're closed (usually try in the mornings). I buy a lot of Rick's, but also go to Big Tom too. Been meaning to check out the new HTG.

Never heard of preferred organics. Is it a dispensary? Where are they located?

They are a dispensary a little north of i-25 on colorado. been in there once to get a free gram, nothing special.

Dang kinda far from Aurora. Might want to check ReLeaf in the Highlands or even closer to Aurora - Herbal Connections of Cherry Creek (now called Kind Love). I doubt Preferred Organics is that much better than either place to warrant the extra drive. But to each their own.

Never been to big tom. I don't like the fact they only stay open till 6. Aurora hydro stays open till 7 and is only a couple miles from my house. I got a bottle of pH down and a bottle of ionic grow for like $9/ea. Prices seem fair and the dude that works there knows his stuff so that really helps.

The new HTG is pretty good. I've ordered online from them in the past, but its nice to 'see' some of their stuff too.

Go visit CJ. Tell him I sent ya! He's working on getting whatever you want/need vs whats on the main website.

Ted managed the grow store for a while. He knows his shit about herb and has been around the scene since I started growing. If you've got questions Ted is one of the best people to ask in the state and he'll give you a straight answer. He'll even show you comprable products to the expensive lines that he carries and other techniques to save you money.

Just be discrete and don't mention or reference marijuana. Ted definitely knows why you're there. Ted will throw you out of the store if you do mention MJ but that's one of the things I like about Ted is he keeps it real.

Ted's the best thing you'll find in Aurora!
