GSC this is going on looking like some sort of mold issue buds falling off and stalk turning brown any help would be appreciated Thank you

Any sign of a boring worm? What are the white dots all over the leaves?

white dots are ash form the nor cal fires

I think you're right, that it is some kind of fungus.

I have had boring worms create damage that looked like fungus, but if you don't see any sign of them, no point in expecting it.
