One of the most important steps in proper growing is to always, always flush your plant the last 2 weeks of flower. I had kinda forgot or was lazy last harvest and it definitely shows. Use reliable nutrients, and also only use about 1/3 of the recommended dose. I use Ionic. Hope this information helps

Great tip! Thanks man! Yeah flushing is very important for those using synthetic fertilizers.Or Another method is just growing organically, and then you don't worry about flushing. (PS "flushing" doesn't get all the harmful fertilizers out, and it still won't pass a lab test) but better than not flushing at all I suppose

I am just at my second grow, but in my plants from my years i learned something. I did the dutch technique when flowering, and the buds had much more trichomes. It was amazing, i did the technique on my worst plant and it was the best bud. I think the technique is called "splitting", when you split the stem when the plant is toped. The stress will result in more trichomes.

Dont put laces in the plant like me, some poeple say it can dry the stem.

Yes let me educate you lol, Many of the synthetic fertilizers people use, contain high amounts of chemicals which should not be induced by humans. These chemicals remain present in the flower when harvested and are then absorbed by the body when smoked, vaped, or ate. Thus they are harmful fertilizers.

That is not education. This is just something you heard. Education is - What chemicals specifically are you talking about? In what amount? Why are they harmful to humans? How do they stay in the flower?

Scouting, IPM...Scouting, IPM... repeat.
My tip is don't forget about the lil guys... the very lil guys, the ones that leave your plants covered in webs and your face covered in tears :crying2:
Scouting for pests is easy to overlook, you may think since your in with your plants everyday that you would notice spider mites or the damage when doing daily maintenance... if you don't see em until they're noticeable, it might be too late. You should be checking your plants for pests regularly, I try to do it 2-3 times a week minimum.

I also recommend Integrated Pest Management A.K.A. IPM. IPM is practicing Pest control as part of your routine, or integrating it into your schedule. You basically act like you have pests, even if you don't. Spraying regularly so the lil sap suckers don't get a chance to grow their population and turn into an infestation. Also, watch penguin videos online. It won't help your garden but they are so damn cute it's bound to make you happy even if you do have bugs
