"Helmet head" is normal, happens often. You're fine, sometimes the cotyledons are stuck inside and you have to manually intervene but it's just stuck to one little piece. Leave it be, it'll drop off on its own.

Looks pretty wet! Make sure you let it dry way back before your water again! And my solos looks like Swiss cheese! And also like to have a small fan oscillating back-and-forth over them gently to encourage a little bit of drying! If you live in a humid area, drying can take forever! Your minds third eye can come in handy when visualizing where the roots might be and how they are progressing with seedlings! They don’t take much water! Can’t wait to watch your outdoor grow! at that stage, they aren’t transpiring much at all! So the only way that soil is gonna dry back is through evaporation!

Wow thank you so much for this answer. I will be posting updates I just used a sprayer on the today only on the edges. First water since they sprouted it's been 4 days. But I think I'm going to leave them about a weak because the soil seems like it's never going to dry since it's very humid here.

Day 3. Side by side. Both are hulkberry autos and they sprouted together. Despite all this one growing slower but I think it looks healthy.

It should be! As long as you were gentle and didn’t thrash it around too badly! I think we’ve all done it, but take it easy you big gorilla! that’s a hell of a way to do your first transplant!

Look good! Clear cups aren’t recommended! Looks like you had a successful transplant!

Absolutely bro. I never heard it called 'helmet head' but the name fits perfectly. It happens all the time, very normal..

If I was you, I would think about getting those girls into their final home (pot). In my experience, sooner the better. I usually sow my seeds directly into my 5 gallon fabric pots after soaking in water for 12 hours or so. Till they sink...

Why aren't clear cups recommend? Can you explain? And what would be the best starter as my situation is better if use a starter cup first.

Also yesterday was the first time I left them outside during nighttime, temps were around 16 Celsius. They still look good today

Because roots are born to spend their lives in the dark! They don’t care for light! I don’t know what the adverse reactions could be! You can Google that! Most people use red Solo cups, or small black plastic nursery pots! Something that light can’t penetrate much! Same goes with transplanting! The less light exposure, the better! I always wait till after the sun goes down. Some people start there seedlings in clear solo cups. But put them inside of red solo cups! So they can take a peek at the roots occasionally. You just want to put as little stress on the plant as possible!

ok that makes so much sense. thank you for elaborating. I will make sure to cover the cups with black tape while maintaining holes for drainage and air flow.

Right on! You have to snatch hold of any advantage no matter how small! They all add up in the end!
