Spent some time this afternoon with the soil veggers in the 4x4. Ended up swapping out the grape gas and Larry x motorbreath with a project 4516 and a jet fuel that were bigger. The gg and Larry were just too small to catch up for this run. Off to the mom room with them. Liking the looks of things better this way.

The couple that needed it got some pruning. Snapped a bunch of necks.

These will move up to 5 gallon bags next week. Plan is to have them ready to flip in about a month to keep everything on schedule. Should be looking like a pretty full tent by then. Cheers

Dante’s inferno 3x3 scrog is at day 13 of 12-12. Stretch has been pretty minimal with this gal and seems to be slowing down. Have been continuing to train her out as she stretches. Singed her tips with a couple hot feeds in the last week, but she’s not too mad at me. Have her lights up to 85%. She’s gets a little mag pissy when I increase them, but snaps back pretty quick.

Pipe cleaner jungle to get branches into final positions.

Forgot to shoot the veggers in the 4x4 today. Need to up-pot them into 5 gallon bags, but have been putting it off…fucking pothead. Lol

Thanks for stopping by. Cheers.

Happy Friday fools…

Coco ladies into week 8 of 12-12 (day 51 I believe). Thinking a couple couple more weeks from the looks of them,
IMG 1236

Dante’s inferno scrog is stretching hard still, but nearly done. Looking pretty gorgeous imo.
IMG 1235

…and six veggers vegging. Was planning to let these cook for a while, but for varying reasons, I’m going to have to get this grow moving along. I have three more plants that are basically identical size. May shove them in too and flip them all next week. Someday I will stop being an indecisive mofo… But not today.

Cheers

Day 20 of 12-12 on the Dante’s inferno 3x3 scrog. Stretch is over. A few middle branches shot up, but otherwise the canopy is nice and level. Loving the new spider farmer bar light for this set up. She’s taking 100% at about 28 inches of distance and loving it. If I have some time before she goes to sleep tonight, I will give her a good haircut and clear out the undercarriage. The airflow between the top and bottom of the canopy right now is pretty crappy. Starting to show a little frost get a little funk about her. Looks like she set a nice batch of flowers.

These coco girls start week 9 of short days today. Switched them to winter frost for this week. Then a few days of water until they are done. Planning to keep the #2 layered cake and the #2 amnesia tree unless they convince me otherwise.

The #1 amnesia has a really nice structure, but the terps that are developing on #2 are nuts. Classic haze but also some deep dankness and like a lemon frosting-y thing too. I’m digging tf out of it. I haven’t pitched the clone of #1 yet. It’s a really nice plant and I may decide to keep it if I have space.

Amnesia tree #1
IMG 1261

Amnesia tree #2 (She is a bit of a trick to get decent pictures of in the back row). Colas are fat as hell tho.
IMG 1260

The #1 layered cake is just not special. The flowers look like they could be fire, but she is just not vigorous or productive enough to keep around. Trashing her clone to make room.
IMG 1263

#2 is a queen. Checks all the boxes so far. Flowers look like they’re going to be 🔥 and are getting dense as hell. Really dank for a wedding cake varietal.

The red velvet looks lovely, but I am not blown away. Will reserve judgment until I have some cured flowers to try.
IMG 1262

Had time to give the DI scrog a haircut this morning. Day 21 of 12-12. Took out a good number of fans from the mid-canopy. Getting these trained up to this point is kind of a pain in the ass. Now comes the part where I can mostly just watch the show and let ma nature take it from here.
IMG 1256

The veggers are starting to get some size. Finally going to get them up-potted into 5 gallon bags of promix. The lineup for this batch:

Sacred princess #7 (left front)
Jet fuel gelato (left middle)
Lemon tree (left back)
Sherb cream pie (right front)
Grape crème cake (right middle)
Project 4516 (right back)

The Dantes Inferno scrog is at day 26 of 12–12. Lifted the lights about an inch. She is showing some signs of light stress. Otherwise, she is stacking hard and starting to swell. Not really any funk yet to speak of.

Promix veggers are in beast mode. I had two girls that I pulled out of this grow and threw back in the Mom room because they were running a little behind. I am going to need the space in my mom room though, so they are getting evicted back into the flower tent. They are going to join this party like it or not! May get a bit tall for them, and I’m sure humidity will be a bit of a battle later, but I’m up for the challenge. Dragging out the extra dehu and sharpening up the defol scissors. This tent is gonna be stuffed!
IMG 1359

…and some porn. My journal and I likes porn.

Red velvet (day 64…almost there)

Layered cake #2 (basically done…will chop later this week)

Dante’s Inferno scrog hit 30 days of 12-12 today. Flowers really starting to fill out. Getting properly frosty for day 30 and starting to pick up a musky funk. Starting to get photogenic imo…image dump alert!

Harvested the coco plants today at day 69 of 12-12.

They were 5-15% amber to my eye, which is plenty for me. They are fully swole and smell fantastic. Here are a few shots from chop time.

Terps on both of these 👆 are silly. The cake especially is loud as all actual fuck.

Non-keeper layered cake…still pretty in her own just-ok way.
IMG 1418

Maybe keeper amnesia tree. We’ll see on this one. Need to try the flowers. Terps are just ok. Structure is really nice tho.

The Dante’s inferno flowers almost done with week 5 of 12-12. Looking lovely. She’s gonna stack out.

The promix veggers are going to get flipped in the next week or so. Just fed today. Everyone cranking. Newer girls catching up.
IMG 1421

Once I get the cabinet cleaned up and reset, hopefully tomorrow, I will be loading in these reg tester plants…5x god’s vagina, 5x yeti f4 and 4x super lemon nightmare (one died during childbirth). They just got potted up into 1.5 gal bags of coco. Hanging out and basically taking over my veg tent until I get the cabinet cleaned. Everyone else has been evicted all the way to my workbench under the shop leds for a couple days. Still haven’t decided whether I am just going to rock them untrained retro bush or top them. The gv’s can be monsters. Will be crowded for a minute if I top, but I will be pulling males once I get them into flower. 🤔
IMG 1430

Things are really getting rolling in the basement farm. Thanks for hanging in with this long ass post if you made it all the way here. Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words…

This Dante’s lit up in the last couple days. Started week 6 of 12–12 today. She is going frosty as fuck. Nice stacks for having like 40 tops. Flowers are starting to smell gorgeous. Still pretty nondescript, but it’s coming on strong.

What’s up farmers? Was out of town for a few days and then busy af when I got back. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted some thing like a proper update.

The Dante’s inferno scrog wraps up week 7 of 12-12 today. She is finishing quick. Her whole canopy has gone silver white. Thick dense flowers. Swelling really nicely. One of the frostiest ladies I have seen in a minute. Put her on winter frost yesterday. I haven’t really noticed that it makes them any frostier, I have noticed that it seems to improve the swell after about three days on it tho. I usually go a week. (Gratuitous photo dump alert…this gal’s photogenic)

Came home to a jungle in the cabinet with the seed plants, although I can’t really be surprised. I whacked it pretty full.
IMG 1578

everyone was showing sex. Only 4 males out of 14, 2 god’s vaginas (dicks?) and 2 yetis. Kept one of each. The yeti male is a fucking stud. Ended up culling a runty lemon nightmare, although all 4 of them were girls. Going to flower 3 females of each varietal. Here are the girls that will be going to the dance.
IMG 1580

While I was checking everyone out, found some thrip damage on a few leaves. Fucking springtime. These girls are weeks ahead of schedule and at least one of them (guess which one… Lol) is already tall enough that she will get pretty beat up by the lighting. I think I am going to slam them back into veg for a couple weeks, top them, treat them and let them rip on schedule in a few weeks.

The 4 x 4 is jammed. Day 11 of 12-12. The one blowing past everyone and jacking up my nice even canopy is the sherb cream pie (back left). I ain’t mad tho. She makes excellent flower. just a little stretchy and extra vigorous. The big girl front left is a sacred princess #7. Angle of the picture doesn’t show it well, but she’s also getting beastly. May have to rearrange to give the 2 of them a little space to get trained and get the canopy more even. May have to rearrange to give the 2 of them a little more room and spread them out to control their height. Everyone doing well in here otherwise. Will be less crazy once I defol around day 20.

Have a couple other interesting projects in the works. May well be stepping things up yet again. Feels good to be back playing in the weeds in earnest. Thanks for stopping in. Cheers.

It kills me to reveg, top and train these statuesque ladies. It’s for the best though. Kicked their lights back over to 18–6 today and started pushing veg nutes. Didn’t have it in me to top them just yet. I will cut them back hard tomorrow and start treating their lil pest issue. They reminded me how long it’s been since I ran untrained seed plants and how gorgeous they are. This Kyle Kushman gear is beefy too. All but one plant has a major thick ass trunk for its size. Next batch are going to rock straight retro bush. I will just plan a bit more and dial in my ipm for the warm weather. Ma nature caught me sleepin this spring. Fortunately, it’s nothing major. Cheers
