Hi. I am in the Bible Belt and as such need annonymity. Building new room in super duper hot garage. Friend says he has two split units that I can pick from. Haven't seen either. How do I tell which one to pick. Looking for at least 3 tons. SEER not important now since unit is free. can upgrade down the line. No 420 friendly HVAC guys in Ga. Peace.

looking for a mini split source. Any recomendations? I am in central cali.
