I was thinking notes, lighting ot temps. For example, I thought I read somewhere that cold temps can induce color. Also, possibly the way I'm trimming. I go real close to the nug leaving very little leaf.

No, generally the nose on these nugs are represented well. It's really just the look.

Yeah I get that. I'm just thinking in terms of say Runtz I've had grown commercials looking almost black in the bag but Runtz I grow is green.

I've been growing for about five years. I've grown some absolutely stellar buds. Dense, fragrant, high content nugs. The plants themselves are always super healthy and produce max yields. One thing I would like to improve upon is the look of my finished product. A lot of my buds look the same...

Thinking Labor Day weekend. Looked at both colas in detail under a 40x loupe today and it still looked pretty early. Feel like it needs to bulk up some and trichomes fill in a bit more. Here is a typical flower.

Here are some better pics. Growing medium is soil with heavy vermiculite added. Using FF Tiger Bloom as directed.

I am hitting weekly with FF big bloom. Was hearing something about a "spike" earlier in this thread.

I think Ima leave it alone. I'd rather have a slightly compromised yield than fckbot all up at this point. With this being my very first, I've tried to keep it as simple as possible. Having said thay, can anyone chime in about the pk spike? I'd like opinions on monster's idea.

Thanks guys. This is an Afggan Kush. It was supposed to be an auto but it didn't really follow the schedule.....they were freebies from Seedsman. The plant has shrunk a good bit. I guess that's normal as she goes from veg to flower, but at this rate there's not going to be any veg left at...
