Hi, I am just starting to experiment. My interest is Grand Daddy Purple.

I presume you have some permaculture growing to release nitrogen? Good looking plant :)

Not sure, the whole black jug with salt water is a permaculture method used to heat an in ground greenhouse in the coldest climates without using electricity.

Jammin on it with a late/early start

...There is a free webinar (Like a seminar online) about Syntropic Agriculture and Permaculture. Something about reversing soil degradation and fostering sustainable food systems. I was thinkin about checking it out. I think they will record it so you don't have to watch it live.

...and they have tons of other stuff, I believe the have the tilther (like a shallow tiller to avoid hard pan in the garden) if you’re into permaculture gardening (outdoors) I’ll pick one up one day but there about $500 and you gotta have your own drill to run it but I still want it 🤣 Some...

I'm just thinking about having to carry the jugs if it might just be easier to use the heatsink from another light and somehow hook the uvb light up to that 🤔 got me thinking early 😆

    Hello from Southern Colorado

...myself. I have been growing cannabis for the last six years in SoCal (indoor tents and outdoor gardens). My passion is integrating permaculture design strategies into cannabis cultivation, and I just relocated to southern Colorado. I will be growing this year in 40-gallon fabric pots, and I...

4th cycle in no till Earthbox

Awesome, that's what I plan on doing with my outdoor plants this year as I'm trying to build a permaculture garden there with 4 kinds of clovers, alfalfa, yarrow, and other plants that grow in my area and have benefits for my plants too so just gonna plant cover crops right over it and hope...

4th cycle in no till Earthbox

NEVER pull roots outside. And chop and drop any plant part that you are not going to eat. I like to keep recycling the nutrients that I don't consume back into the soil. The biology will process it quick.

My 2023 Winter Grow Log Journey

...with it and know it well. It's cheap and easy to find too. When I do my final up-pot, the soil mix will be integrated into my permaculture cycle. More on that later. These are only getting water for now. About 10 sprays from a water bottle a day, around their base. The light is a 1500 watt...

...up, a 9’ circle outdoor wicker bed so the wife can sunbathe out back or on the upper deck lol The garden was origionally started as a permaculture garden so I laid out cardboard 2 layers thick over the yard as it sat grass and all, and then wheeled in 10 cubic yards of 100% organic dark leaf...

...spring, I hope to have spawn for oysters, wine caps, wavy caps, shitakes, maitakes, and lion's mane, all destined for setting up a full permaculture system around the property. Psilocybes are just my first love, and the easiest ime, so figured break teeth on learning agar with them and the...

A new motivation to keep growing. What's yours?

Clever!! That’s a beautiful garden. I won’t have anything that big, but I’ll have hopefully 2 sections + whatever I can fit on my deck. I’ll have to put up some chicken wire along my deck railings as well since I’ve caught bunnies up on there (and a skunk).

    Using Urine as a Fertilizer

"This winter, I stumbled on a way to easily remove salt from urine before using it as fertilizer for the garden. Just put the container of urine in a refrigerator overnight. The salt precipitates out and sticks to the walls of the container. You can then pour out the liquid and the salt will...
