    Advice needed

That just looks like extreme nutrient def. I would check PH before guessing at anything. It doesn't look like HSV, I have had the mosaic virus and that is not it. It makes obvious patterns on the leaves and a weird all over wilt.

    Minor problems in closet grow.

I can not see spraying leaves completely with straight dish soap and lemon juice, that sounds like death. I have used serenade and sulfur but nothing beats regular old milk and water. Do 2 tbsps of milk in a half qt of water with two drops of dish soap. Do it every other day for a week and...

curing the dank in the dank pacnw

An AC or heater will dehumidify as well, just don't overdo it. And whatever you do, don't try to stick your dehumidifier in a little area, it will kill it. I have done this in an attic space and it was doom for the dehumidifier.

4x4x6.5 Grow? How many plants should I grow for maximum yeild?

Right, and also, make sure when you flip them to 12/12 they are bolting upwards and filling out. Then you will see the best results. Catch em in a growth spurt.

    lack of odor

If you don't take it long enough the oils don't develop enough and it may smell when you cut it but lose smell as it cures. Always check trichomes!

4x4x6.5 Grow? How many plants should I grow for maximum yeild?

Very true! I sometimes chuckle at these new style hydro growers when I work out the GP/W numbers. It seems like it's 6 of one and a half dozen of the other.

Thanks for that. I always see these recipes and think "that's a lot of animal product meal" but hey, if you get good results...I may have to rethink.

No problem at all, take it where you need it to go my man. I learn from every bit I read. I don;t agree that organic costs more though, it only costs more when you don't have the resources to make it your self. I am all about DIY. I am a farm boy whose mom teaches organic farming to...

Someone school me please (soil to soiless)

Uh, wow! That makes me want to get out of growing pot and start making compost tea packages. SPENDY! Thanks but I don't think our patients would like that cost passed on to them. I will continue brewing my own aerobic and anaerobic C teas as I have always done. If it aint broke...don't pay...

Oh, I definitely add molasses. Thanks though...other options are good. I find that plants like variety as much as we do.

    1st time grow, what wrong

If you are going to go by the bottle, a good rule is to start at half strength, even 1/3rd and work up until you see that deep green or a leaf curl and back off.

So, replace additives to the soil with a foliar feed and drench of aerated tea? I can do that. 2 more questions, 7. would adding perlite, thus feeding more, increase growth rates. In hydro, if I have a fast draining soil, depending on the plants ability to process, I am feeding more, thus...

    1st time grow, what wrong

The thing about pot is, you have to ask the plants. Yours say yes, too much. If you had more light, they would transpire water and breathe more nutrition through their cells. If you aren't photosynthesizing fast enough, you may well be feeding too much. Going by the bottle is a good way to...

This will be my first time growing in Promix. I have always grown in my own soil mixes. I would really appreciate someone who has made this transition taking a minute to school me a little. What are the major things I will have to change about my grow style? I know I will be feeding right...

    Max wattage?

Ditto. Optimizing the space is what we should all be going for. 600 is plenty for 3X4' IMO.

    Max wattage?

I would go with 2 600s rather than 2 100s. True, you can do it and you will get more bud but is it worth the extra 800 watts in electricity? Probably not. There is a cutoff and overlap in the lights. In my opinion, 2X600 would be ideal for 4X8. If you had 5X10 I would say go for it, you would...
