Feeding

currently in the process of setting up my indoor garden. was debating if to use the "tropf bulmat" self watering systems. for my medium i am using sunshine mix #4 in 5gal buckets. also a 27gal res pumping my nute solution to a 5gal res within my grow room to gravity feed my girls. What i would like to know is if these blumat systems will: sufficiently and evenly distribute the nute solution to all my plants ?
will they not overfeed or underfeed my plants?
and generally are they worth the effort or just stick to watering by hand?

i would just water by hand unless you are going full hydro, but that is just me.
