Sept 1 (or Aug1) 4 X 4 Tent Is Cleaned And Ready

The tent is cleaned up. I will run the 315 CMH in 3k and the 2VL vero in 3500 this round. Flaps open to get more air.

They will veg in the small tent with the 4 k quantum 135

Autopots and bubble buckets this round. Strains to be selected depending on how the harvest is and how much indica/sativa i get outside.

With the 315 and the 2VL and the 6 inch vortex scrubber and 2 fans it pulls 640 watts (5.4 amps roughly) that is very workable on the 15 amp circuit.

Just watch the amp load. You want to be around 80% of total rates capacity.

I have a dedicated 15 qmp for it. I will keep the light to 600 watts or less but spread better.

I have decided on 3 plants in autopots on a 315 CMH in 3k (2 sour diesel and one critical mass) coco and hydroton 50 50 mix and 1 bubble bucket (CM)

Everything is cleaned and ready.

315 CMH in 3k and 200 VERO in 3500.

The 3 will start in my small tent with a 4k quantum board and when they are established i will run 1 critical mass in a bubble bucket with a single 135 quantum board. Lets see what happens.

I got a 4200K CMH bulb this time too. Instead of spending more on another light i decided to just buy a phillips master color bulb and now i have a 3k and 4k (942 and the master color).
I will veg everything with the 4k and 3500k vero (vero on low) and i might run it all in 4k just to see how it works out. Or swap out to 3k. Possibilities :)

I have decided to run just 4 autopots this round. 315 CMH....Timber 2VL (3500) and Quantum 135 (4k) Total is about 350 to 650 watts with power adjustments on the 2 that can. I can dial that in to 85 degrees F lights on.

I can adjust the power on the timber and quantum to get the temps right and provide way better 4 x 4 coverage.

It should be the best yet......I hope.

All lights on low with fans etc draws 4.5 amps

All lights on high with fans etc draws 7 amps

Glad i put that dedicated circuit in. Everything is perfect.

Shaping up. 2 weeks in the small tent to hand eater the autopots then in the temt. This round i am doing silica, calmagic and lucas.formula .

It is early but maybe best veg light i have ever uaed. When i went from solo cup to autopot they doubled in size overnight.

I put all of the lights in. Running two on low for now. :) Total is 450 watts from the killawat meter.

Friday pic. I need to add more calmag i think. The curse of RO water with coco. They are starting to really drink now. About 1 to 1 1/2 gallons a day.

I just had a light change....the 315 CMH was replaced by 238 watts of QB strips. I can get to 570 watts but am running 500 right now. I will check how it effects temp in the tent. I effectively shaved off 80 watts from one fixture and will turn up another in a different place in the tent. :D

This is the fixture i got for 300 bucks CDN (220 USD).

With the lights all running temps stabalized at 28.4 celcius (83 F). With the 315 I was at 29.8 (86F).

I noticed in tents the temp changes as the plants fill out the space. I think it is related to the green leaves not reflecting like the mylar does in the tent.
But temps droppped 1 1/2 degrees C from when i started to week 5.

Things are going ok. I switched to 12 12 on the next light cycle. 10 weeks or so from now and it will be harvest time.

The new light is nice but wow that aluminum plate gets HOT. I have a fan blowing over the aluminium plate to help dissipate the heat and get it extracted by the scrubber.
