I just had to chime in and say that the Doc's ECSD is still to this day the best Sour D I've smoked. Each pheno I've seen is Killer in its own way.

I just took down an outdoor ECSD from seed a little over a week ago. Couldn't believe how dank the stuff was when I trimmed it up. So fuelly and funky with a very sour note, I love it!!! My girl had been watching me trim for a month straight. She didn't mind the smell of the other 10 strains. She complains that the ECSD smells like a skunk and she can't handle the smell. IMO its the best smell in the world, nothing like the smell of pure dank right?

Sounds awesome. Can't get much better than some dank SourD. The flavor in a nice J is just unbelievable. Your SourD sounds real bomb. ~ODB~

I gotta say cali connects original sour d has some kick ass phenos to be found my homie IB got like 8 females out a ten pack not sayin there the best but pretty dank I've got some pics in my genetic assualt thread big ole fat stinky diesel colaz,but I to am waiting for the white sourd damm that's gonna be some sick chit!

The sour13 is pretty awesome, but not much of the ecsd flavor in there. Only real downside is it got the g13 (lack of) flavor. Huge yields and very potent though. agreed it is very under rated, wouldn't hesitate to recommend the strain, so far my favorite from doc.

Yea docs ecsd,Chemdog #4 and bubba are on my list next! I'll be Gavin my fam Winta do smoke reports on all of docs strains I grew this yr! The c99 is fire! The ghost turned out like a classic og and the g13 is uber potent and yielded huge!

I just grew a bunch of Rez SD IBL side by side with the real ECSD clone. The Rez SD is amazing. Very little variation in phenotypes,earlier finish,and way bigger yield. It has all the SD smell you could ever want. Amazing stuff.

guys im seriously considering picking up some sour 13 but im wondering are there some diesel smelling phenos in there that could finish in 65 days or less from clone in hydro?

65 days should be ok due to the g13 bringing the finish time down abit

if they were all grown i cannot see that there shouldn't

arithmatically be a deeze smell pheno in a pack.

about 1 in 20..fortunately i was ..uhh fortunate ...and got one

wish i still had that but lotsa water under th' bridge since then..

in short its genetics bouncing around and being 50% deeze it sure seems way

Ive got dna sourd in veg right now and it stinks like sour fuel already so i will see if it turns out it is from seed and i have one other not as stinky.

Dna/reserva sour diesel is the shit juss finished strechn and shit had 2 weeks veg 3.5 o 4 ft tall pavkd with bud stinks and her side stems have to b held up yesterday morning when tgey got checkd on still got lil more to go then pics and smoke report if u guys interested

Not sure why you're running B-52 and Vitaboost at the same time. They are like exactly the same thing, just made by different manufacturers.

So by the sounds of your post you are in week 3 of flower? They already need to be held up? Pics and more details (exact day of flower and meduim info) would be nice.

Great White powder is good stuff. But if you are in week 3 or 4 of flower you are beyond the point where you will benefit from it. Roots stop growing after week 4 in flower so it would be pointless depending on where you're at.

Roots Excellerator works great for me, but I've heard it works great in conjunction with Great White. Pick some up for your next run. I use rooting enhancers week 1-3 in veg, and week 1-2 in flower.

If you want some real deal sour without all the politics and guessing I agree sunsimulators Ecsd seed project has produced some dank sour and its not even finished yet...

From what I hear he is about to release seeds somewhere very soon!

Out of 11 seeds 6 did not germ. The 5 hermed.
Smoke was ok but had seeds. Doc said he would replace the 6 that did not germinate but never did. Would like to try another pack but are now $150 for 5

grew out DR GT g13 and his sour13

to me his g13 was a waste of time, space, and money. huge yields but no taste and low potency.

the sour 13 was nice tho ,huge yields and potency was thru the roof. pure sleeper medz. only problem i had with this strain was smell and taste was lacking. no sour d smell or taste

id recommend Sunsims ecsd cross. this is one of those strains i wish ihad back. started 5 from seed and got 2 girls both great reps for the escd fat dense buds that stink to hell. would have needed a bigger carbon filter if i had ran a whole room of em. taste and potency was spot on. didnt take clones or keep a mom cause i was listenin to sum drama on another site about sum herm issues (big mistake). i watched these girls with a eagle eye the whole grow and never seen a nanner but had 2 uncloned gems in the room.

Thats interesting that you said his g13 was low in potency. Its a highly resin plant from what ive seen.
