of course he did...he hired Michael Taylor to head the FDA to rubber-stamp anything that is unfit. Meanwhile every liberal troll is too busy condemning the Right for the up-coming elections to hold their own party accountable for atrocities like this and NDAA. It's like he's setting us up...way past his term.

The government has limitless power over judicial issues which affect interstate commerce. Congress has written laws which say as much and the Supreme Court has on many many occasions ruled that this is the case. In fact this was one of the arguments which allowed the individual mandate portion of Obamacare to be upheld. This is indeed very legal.

I don't think you'll see this overly abused. If you go and read the act which was signed, it doesn't actually exert nearly as much power as the article posted suggests. Monsanto should be destroyed but there is good reason for these powers, and they are not unprecedented as this article claims. The people will be the ones to destroy this company. I really believe that this type of grandstanding which twists the truth to make 'the Monsanto situation' seem worse than it really is, is detrimental to the goal of seeing Monsanto destroyed. It's like when your parents tell you not to smoke weed because it's this evil drug and it'll make you turn into a horrible person. Your friends tell you that is bullshit. When you try for yourself it just makes you laugh and want to eat food and maybe a little sleepy. Who do you believe now?
We shouldn't try to kill a bunch of liars with a bunch of other liars, that is stupid. Monsanto is awful enough to be worth destroying all by itself. The federal government is stupid enough to be worth reforming without collusive conspiracies.

Legal? If I walked in my living room in the middle of the night and someone was in the process of "Stealing" my flat screen TV off the wall I could "Legally" blow their head off with A 45 auto... but would it be Right? Or could I simply use A more sensible means to an end? Because I know something so controversial will cause nothing but Kaos... Hmmmm.

Every major-party politician is nothing more than a mouthpiece spewing bullshit for the machine.

Anybody have space for me and boys on an island in the south pacific? :-) my kids are hard workers and very polite... haha

honestly i'm really disappointed with this country and it's way of profit before everything else. I always wanted to live in Spain. might be a good time to start checking it out for real.

The average person just wants to live his life, be left alone, make some cash, take a vacation, and generally just be happy..

Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness..

The government, and corporations on the other hand, just can't have that, they need to get into our lives and dictate what we do and don't do, what we think, and most importantly (for them), where we spend our hard earned cash.

Their goal is money, and our goal is happiness..and when you break it down to this simple form, it's a huge disconnect.

Just my opinion..seems like more and more laws, means more and more work for law makers, even when there isn't a need for it.
