Hey everyone, It was my first coco grow, and I chose to do Dj Shorts Flo. MY concern is, when i used to do DWC the smell of the buds were just INSANE. The coco grow seems to have a faint smell to the buds..

Is it the coco grow? or is it the strain? Dried for 8 days hanging and then put into jars for 20 days now. The smell is great, but not as strong.

Just chopped my flo's (clones from the mother plant, not dutchpassion seeds) at 30% Amber and 70% Milky. it was about 64 days.

Used House and Garden nutes, flushed for 1 week using Botanicare sweet.

B'Cuzz Coco (2/3) Perlite (1/3).

I hope you guys dont mind the big pics! :)

I hope everyone enjoys! :)

cant answer your question but i say who cares, those buds look phenomenal! excellent job man!

the flo has a faint aroma itself, its really bomb and crystally...but its smell is like a fresh shoe box smell or something its smells good and has some killer orange hairs...but the dank aroma that fills up an entire house just isnt in the flo..its a mild uplifitng stone also

id have to agree with OG.

IMO I have not found the odor to be as strong in coco as it was when I was using fox farms..........

You did a bang up job on those Flo Mother clones, dr root!

Flo is short for Floral- the plant should have a faint flower like scent, some are earthier some are skunk-ish but it's all mildly scented...

Enjoy the uplifting, motivating, attitude adjusting high...

Now you need the Blueberry Mother cut for the smell...

:handshake totally agree with that,it'z atime ago, that i grow'd the flo,but what i remember is this positive mental high..:character0103:

I'm growing in Hempy style buckets w/coco - feeding with PBP & my plants stink as much or more than when I grew organic soil.Haven't harvested one this method yet.

I'm trying coco now for the first time. So far the growth is great and much faster and more vigourous than my soil plants. I get a lovely aroma from my organic soil plants, so i hope growing on coco doesn't ruin that. If it does i'll stick completly with soil.

I'd like one of those wilma drip systems one day though, so i can just fill up a tank every week or whatever and leave the dam things alone. Got to get to grips with coco first though, then i'll be comfortable taking on more hydro methods.

Dr Roots told me there are two Flo plants pictured and he got over a pound...

Well, I don't know about the yeild figures, but that is about the best Flo PLANT I've ever seen- I've seen pics of better individual buds but for the overall pics of the plant (an most photographers would have plucked the lightburnt leaves and dusted off the perlite before snapping the final pics) you did very well indeed...

How long did you veg those clones??? Any details on the nutes and nute levels?

Hope the Flo Mother cut makes it to the EastCoast!!!

Thanks for the kind words ! :). I took those pics the minute i chopped. I dont really care for cool pictures i just wanted to show what the bud looked like FINISHED. As for the "light burns" its actually from flushing..

clones were vegged for about 10 days.
