My 1st grow

I have bumped my nutrients up to 1/2 the amount per gallon to feed my babies. I will post a pic next week.

I been sitting here thinking, I recall someone saying that the 600 watt light I had will do my girls justice . Is this true my little tent is all set up and I don't want to change a thing except the bulb. Now I have heard that my buds wont be a big or firm with the 600 watt light , but then I hear and read different. Help!!!Is it worth the effort or should I just finish the grow with the 600? Dazed by the Blue Cheese and a little unsure what to do. HALP!!!!:arghh:

I did a little pruning and I just couldn't throw these babies away . I remember watching my mom when I was a kid clone. Now I don't know if it is good growing practice but I did it her way . Oh the bags are my idea...lol:) Okay mom if you are watching from above it was your idea but you made your tent thing with saran wrap and a card board shoe box.:)

I increased the nutrients and am going to water more often. The girls are loving it. I have used some string to kinda open 2 of them up to allow a few more places for bud to form. The filter has totally got rid of the smell. The new fan arrangement is keeping my tent a nice cool 76 to 82 the high side but I do keep my home cool 72 degrees in the winter. I am going to veg for 2 more weeks and flower. I love Alien:blackalien: This has to be some of the best Damn weed ever. If grown right make butt cheeks glassy.. ...Woooo...lol You can function that's about all ...lol The guy that grew this stuff I am smoking is one growing motherfucker. This shit turned out HighTimes....

ahhh yes the first grow, once your done with this you wont have all those little annoyances. my first grow was frantic and i think i did more harm than good (over-everything) so now my motto is simple.... less is more. keep on underfeeding because its easier to fix than overfeeding, then youll find that right number that pushes them to their breaking point (a little tip nute burn) i love alien as well and have one going outside this year. i had zero gardening experience when i started and now i grow veggies and other herbs, its so fun and this plant has so much to teach us. if you can grow outdoors i suggest it, you go out and get your vitamin D and chat with your plants, its just a nice calm day. good luck ill be checkin in to see some buds!!

I put my girls on 12 and 12 . If I am going to be a real grower then I should be able to grow a plant through full cycle with any light source. Man this forum is addictive so many great ideas and great grows. Tiger says don't order more stuff ....Flower POwer Baby...LOL You know I was in on the tail end of the 60's hippie movement and now I finally got what flowers they were talking about...lol

I am done with cigarettes. They are hampering my ability to enjoy my weed. Good Bye to them. I am not going to miss out on a single toke of my crop.lol When I feel like a cigarette I will vaporize some bud or smoke a joint NO MORE BLUNTS!!!!either..

cigs were one of the hardest things for me to quit, took like 5 times. dont get discouraged with vaporizing, it takes a little time to get used to it and to get it dialed in. i made sure i threw out all papers with tobacco in them, just so i wouldnt get more cravings. if you are about to break and bum a cig, look at that cigarette and say out loud "your not stronger than me!! I DONT NEED YOU :) " good luck

This is Kali.. I read about the toughness of cannabis . This is out of the bottom of my kitchen trash...lol I hope she is s girl . This is from a bag of weed , there were only a few seeds in the bag so I tossed them and this sucker germinated in what was left of some chicken and rice soup and coffee grids....lol So if I screw up it aint the plants fault.

You know the Goddess of Cannabis has blessed me with finding this site. It.s one of the best ones , due to the fact if you Google a question about cannabis you most likely will end up here.lol;) Tons of info on this site. I am trying to read and absorb as much as possible. Maybe one day I will become 1/2 as good a grower as some of the guys on this site. I will be able to reach into my stash and roll my on herb and it's killer...lol:) I am going to wait it out and take my crop til the fat lady sings. I found out in the process of doing my first few grows that while you can read and read and read and read the best thing to do is to read until you are comfortable and then make your plan and stick to it for the first grow. Use the 'keep it simple silly' method. When you finish your first grow and it is curing that is when you can read some more and change some things based on the experience you had and then you can ask for advice too. The trick is that when you are the one making the decisions and developing the experience things end up making a lot more sense to you and you make better decisions for your style and comfort instead of letting everyone else and their brother run your grow. Have faith in yourself and execute because reading and knowing things only gets you so far, sometimes you just have to 'do' stuff.

You are correct. Thank you for your reply. I agree keeping it simple on this grow will be the best thing to do. So I am not going to add anything more to my grow sit back and let the plants grow.

yup, just think of it, its a weed, with light and water itll pretty much grow anywhere, (your garbage, kens compost bins :)) this plant is hearty. this is no different than anything in life, practice makes perfect. and still even when youve practiced a lot, sometimes it wont be perfect, but you will always feel that pride when you crack open a jar of YOUR SHIT.

I am seeing little hairs on my girls..They are getting excited and so am I...lol I took 3 clones and all 3 are doing fine..YES!!!! I spent about 45 minutes cleaning my little tent and making sure there is no water or debris on the floor. I added a little Bat Guano to the soil. I am going to do this one more feeding and there should be enough in the soil for most of the Flower but if it seems that a little more is needed I will add it.
In about a week or so the hairs on those girls should be long enough that I can take some photos.

My Mom's cloning formula : dissolve a tiny bit of any fert in some water soak the cutting for about 30 minutes and then poke them suckers in a little baking soda and plant. The only fert she ever used was miracle grow...I miss her . she would be my care giver because that woman had a green thumb for real..

i bought one of those starfire cigs with nicotine . and used it sparingly for a couple of months and weaned myself off those also . don't miss those fucken cigarettes . can breath better and take nice long hits on a joint !

I tasted white widow..not bad...I have Jack the Ripper and Quasi in my grow now..I am stoned ...:cool: I re sealed the windows to darken the room even more. I am growing in a tent but I am still trying to reduce the light in the room to as little as possible.
