And the number of people in Denmark, Norway, Sweden???(Like the # of people in Ohio or Idaho or some other state here?) and their yearly federal budget? (That we do not have and Obama refuses to submit or in our case I should say Deficit?) Good luck with that... The Current Admin. and Congress can't even manage the Dog and Pony Show they are attempting to put on now let alone U.S. Health Care managed by the I.R.S. :eek:

funny thing i have a cousin whos a teacher and does landscaping in the summer. 2 years ago hes telling me how good obamacare is for the people and blah blah blah. the owner of the landscaping company just told 15 people they arent coming back next year. if your part time employees add up to 30 hours together they need health care.

i remember being in similar threads 2 years ago arguing with so many people about free health care. doctors are gonna start working for free, drug companies are gonna give away meds. a hospitol is a monster that just eats and eats. paper, trash removal, electric, plumbing streilization the list goes on and on.

The only way to make things affordable is to control spending not make more people pay for it.

I haven`t got health care ,except Medicare. They tried to make me buy insurance but I won`t pay. I haven`t been to a doctor in 6 years! I have a number of major health problems but treat my self with healthy food ,exercise and MMJ. Fuck the big corporate drug pushers and those who are owned by them! We need to revolt against Corporate controlled Government !

Obama Care is A hacked up law, passed by A Democratic held Senate in the Dead of Night without input from "Nobody" other than selves, Modified by A supporter in the Supreme Court (Unconstitutional) postponed for "Bumps in the Road" as they call it... and altered as politically necessary, piece of "Dung" named after "Some Dude" that had nothing more than 2 yrs. Senate Experience and now Runs A Country o_O It will be left for "Others" to clean up the aftermath of with no consideration what so ever of the devastating effect it will have on the U.S. Economy... Way to Go Obama... "Yes We Can"

I don't blame this shit on Obama, I blame it on us. Why? Because, most Americans are idiots who keep voting the same assholes into office. Obama is a 2x thing at most, and he's mostly a figurehead. Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, Reid, all of these lifers? That's another story entirely, and entirely WITHIN our hands.

Oh, and then there's McClintock. I'm not gonna talk about him (yet).

I thought it was pretty clear I was talking about the shear number of people and A Budget for A Plan? Less people = Easier to Manage and Fund / Budget? Government People here are not familiar with the term (BUDGET) That means print money right :woot:

I don't see how changing the numbers really changes anything else, though. I mean, sure, fewer people *are* easier to manage, and yeah, I happen to believe the earth is overpopulated with humans. But I don't believe that these other systems already in place can't be scaled up as long as those doing the scaling and collecting the funding are people with integrity. For example, all those Dutch cabinets that resign when they haven't done their jobs well or correctly. That's some measure of integrity. Here? They get better press. Weiner would be an example, right?

I follow the line of thought that "We" are already taped out... The budget is blown, we borrow what we can't pay for already. If The U.S. was A Business or Household it would have been declared in default under Obama Admin. long ago... and don't think that can't happen (Detroit? Ca Next?) So what are we going to do now? The Fed will come with it's hands out for $$$ telling you how it's "Fair" for people that are out of work and broke, loosing their homes to pay just A Little more so "Everybody" can have "Free" Yeah, Right :rolleyes: Health Care (Always ends up being A lot more than they (Fed) figured) and this makes sense to who?

If anyone would care to place A wager on "Who is Healthier?"... Someone with A Job that can feed themselves and their family and keep A roof over their head or "Homeless, Jobless and Broke on the Street" What is more important here, the job and $$$ on hand to pay for Food and Home or "Health Care" for Everyone brought to you by Obama Care?

Seamaiden, I'm with you on this one. As a functioning government, I feel like our taxes should pay for healthcare before we send aid away to other countries. We are the only Country in the world that operates in a medical for profit capacity. It's all about greed & control. It should not be 5k to go into the er to get minor treatment.

More taxes?Are you F'in high?They will just give themselves a raise again,Congress has already exempted themselves from this program so do you honestly think they give a damn?Even govt entities are opting out by cutting hours of previously full time people to less than 30 to avoid the obamacare fiasco.My county,the largest in the country just did exactly that,so even the govt is trying to wiggle its way out of it.Fuck giving these thieves one dime more.
Our politicians will never understand until they themselves are forced to endure the mess they make for everyone else.

To much undeserved "Trust" going to those that by your own admission / statement Waste Our Money, and with that I agree 100% Why don't the federal government just clean it's own house (Major cuts to Wasteful Spending) as A show of Good Faith? Because they don't give A Fuck about the waste, they just want your money, that's why... You have heard of "IRS Scandals" right?

Think about this for A min... Financial Responsibility Insurance (Basic Coverage Auto Ins.) mandatory in 49 States (Except New Hampshire) Competitive pricing, across state lines controlled by Each State on A per State basis... Independent private party Insurers, competing against each other for the best Insurance Pricing without Government Mandate or Control in any way... Even have on-line price comparison (Check out Auto Insurance Specialists to compare rates with "All" providers for example) It's already being done without Big Brother on $1000 hoopties to $250, 000 rides including bodily injury rates that "You / We" choose... Health care could use the same "Proven" model... Food for Thought.

Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Cancer... Estimated cost to treat approaching the Trillions per Year range for Alzheimer's alone sooner than you think. We cured Polio in what??? The 50's... Small Pox... somewhere between year 1500 & 1700 (Currently estimated to be the biological weapon of choice, Different story) A government backed Grant / Reward of what? 1 Billion (getting of cheap if you consider the alternative) to the Company / Lab / School that cures the disease instead of "Paying" Big Pharma to "Treat" the disease (profit $$$ to treat, not in the Cure) would also go A long ways to drastically "Cut" future health care cost as opposed to making it A "For Profit" business... Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Cancer are the big three that drive Health Care Cost. Do A little research if you don't believe it. Affordable Health Care is not A Unicorn, Congress and Government of Action is the problem...

We are deep in debit and it isn`t because of social programs , it`s war debits. Our Government is in the protection business for the 1% at the cost to the 99%. Look at the wars and money made. Look at who are `enemies` are, Countries that are not members of the world Banking network. I applaud our armed services for doing there duty faithfully, but they and the American people are being used. We can not be the world police force and our Government should work for the common good of the People, not the world and not just the 1% ! The 1 % should have just that much say, 1%!

We are deep in debt because our gov't is dysfunctional in every aspect. The dems get elected by aiding the poor through their social programs, giving teachers a great pension therefore they teach socialism and the conservatives are owned by the corporations. Politicians don't care about the people they care about themselves and what it takes to get reelected.

If we as a country don't start controlling these issues all to soon it will be to late and the future of this country will be changed drastically from what we know now. The affordable health care act won't work there are simply to many things that the American people won't go along with. Pelosi was telling congress to pass the damn thing without reading it. My wife and I are paying almost a grand a month for health care and have no idea really what is and isn't covered. Every time we go to the doctor we have no idea of the cost involved. Sounds kind of like the new Marijuana laws in Colorado....no body knows what's legal and what isn't. DON'T WORRY THE GOVERNMENT IS IN CHARGE.

Didn`t I say don`t Tax, Control, and Regulate ? Deregulation of marijuana is the only answer. Put it back as God intended!

SSI, Veterans Administration, Medicare... The more involved Government got, taking money from here to pay for that over there the more dysfunctional and broken these federal programs became... Like Obama:finger: always says "If anybody has A better Idea than Obama Care, Lets Here it"... So here it is... Fix what you Fucked Up instead of "Replacing" with A program that is obviously "Broken" and needs to be "Fixed" right out of the box... But there is no "New Taxes" to "Gain" from fixing programs that are "Failing" that you already Tax for now, is there Mr. Obama... :meh: This is A snap shot of What is to Come via Obama Care.
