lol... what happened to thompsonmail??? maybe Dr Dre will be succsesful growing in this system... I do wish u the best of luck dr dre all i ask is for you to be honest with this grow and system and not just hype it up and dissapear like your friend thompson did... Gettogro challenged thompson for a side by side of the hydrus and his UCpro... However thompsonmail has vanished into thin air along with all his threads and pictures.... Kinda weird if u ask me or maybe not weird at all given the challenge...

Yo Dre ditch the DM go with the cultured solutions you will have more success i can promise u that... Oh wait nvm i bet ur using DM because you and thompson see the Under current guys as your competition and dont want to use their product... No problems if thats why i had a lot of great grows using DM before CS.. Only reason i switched is because DM kept switchin up their formula...

Like Papa said though those plants are waaaay overgrown for your room... If u dont trim them down you will have all kinds of trouble, bud rot, mold, tip burning, heat stress.. Get sum big ass floor fans in their to help circulate the air through the plants itll be the best 200$ you ever spent....

Also next time you take sum pics take them right before or right after the lights turn off its hard as hell to see what the plants really look like... Good luck bud, i hope to see good things from this journal

Papa I put them in at 7in and veg was 20 days. I have a ton of fans on the floor and my cages have propped things back I will get pics with cages on. Yes I overgrew my room this is only my second grow in hydro and this system. I will be the first to say I am a ROOKIE! Babyh i only posted this grow because of your assumption that I am just trolling and I have and imaginary grow I hope this puts those thoughts to rest. I use dm only because I have easy and affordable accesses to it I am not competing with anyone just simply trying to grow meds without spending a arm and leg. If anyone has suggestions on what I could do to improve my grows I would like to hear it.

Drdre, thanks for the response. i'm having some trouble wrapping my mind around this . . . . it's hard to determine the scale, but it appears as if those plants are at least 40" tall. you said they were in the first week of flower after a 20 day veg . . . . . if those numbers are right you have a very serious problem with having overgrown the room (both height and your 60" centers) and should consider pulling them and starting over before paying for a lot of electricity and nutes for some not-so-hot quality bud. with the kind of growth that is achieved with a DWC system, establishing the right flip time for your room and strain is an important part of the dialing-in process. but another reason why i'm having trouble trying to figure out how you got here is that those numbers don't correlate with my experience of the approx 45w/sq ft that you're running. i'd like to understand this better. where have your nute levels been the past three weeks? how does this run compare to your first (veg time, height at this day, stretch over the first three weeks of flower, i assume the strains are the same)?

Papa I have already took clones 10 days ago just because I know shit happens I should of specified that those pics are end of week one and I will post end of week two today sorry I live pretty far from my grow and only go out once a week my ppm are weird I drain 15 mins a day and dose 15 a day from what I see they eat between 50 and 100 ppms I think a day so ppms stay between 1200 and 1050 every day and I will let my grow grow tell my clones are ready to go and reevaluate my situation thanks for the advice

Nice Dr., Do you have any pics of your room before plants or during small veg? I would love to see the design of your room and the layout of your lights. Are you running tap or ro and how are you run your top off, hot or straight ro? What else besides a and b do you mix in your stew, Cal Mag? Also are you running those different strains all in one system? Sorry so many questions, I just dig your room and want to know more. Don't ever feel like you need to show face because of some internet bulling piss contest, the best that can happen is you stay dry. Although, I must say I am glad you did share and I hope to see you rock a nice show.... A4FD

what are you talking about dude?? obviously u dont follow me that much on here because all i do is try to help people here... I wasnt talking any shit to dr dre in this thread... Quit trolling and trying to start shit when their is nothing here to start... Which part of what i said was talking shit?? Im curious?? Yes, i am curious of why thompsonmail has vanished into thin air but thats about it

DM did work great for me for a couple years it is pry the second best behind CS... Are you running DM Zone?? if not what are you using for your root health?? I would suggest ogbiowar caps bennies kick major ass... Are you using any bloom boosters?? AN Big Bud and overdrive worked great when i was using DM... Keep up the good work bro.. i look forward to seeing how these ladies do

PS- your troll status has now been lifted;) . I apologize for any negative comments i have made to you in the past and wish u all the best in the future... Its clear u have a pretty kickass grow room, the jury is still out on the hydrus though...

a4fd I use dm zone dm add 27 an synszyme yes all strains same system I run tap water and it comes out at 175 ppms
papa my first grow was on 50 inch centers I put plants in at 12 inch 9 day veg which I flipped at 30 in wide it was gdp and unfortunately I lost the crop and equipment due dick landlord not following med rules it went to week 6 and was confiscated so I never got to see outcome just knew it was my best looking crop my new picks with cages on make my room look a little less over grown my plan is to tie branches up and move lights as little as possible I will post picks of day I put these girls in the system

They look great, beautiful healthy praying leaves... I hope them bad boys dont stretch to much though bud or u might have a little fire hazzard there... looking good though much better pics than the hps shots, thanks bro

Its not that overgrown,as I find trees do not stretch like an 18"plant will do. I would make sure I have enough floor fans for flower. Trim 12-18" on the branches from the stalk. This will give you an airway up the middle of your plant to improve its health later in flower. I would run some yo-yo's in there to help you place those branches. Now I would be plotting out these positions to max you light/shade for later. Either sulfur burn or spray your plants to help with botritis later. Hope you enjoy your system as you could have easily purchased a worse system. You must sleep better now that you have been detrolled. Suerte JK
I just noticed your lights out pic. If that was my room I would spend about 6 hours positioning my plants/branches,climb up on a ladder for a different prospective. And I would pull down some branches and raise your lights.

dr, 'plants look great. i'm still trying to understand your scale. how tall are the cages?
how is the water level controlled/adjusted in these tubs? have you changed it at all since you put the plants in? do you have a pic like the root pic you posted, but early in veg, so i can see the net pot? thanks.
