This strain was acquired circa 2004 --- from orgnkid about 4 or so 10 packs from him and other friends purchased from cbay wayyy back helping out.. altogether.. out of quite a few females 30+ -- this one female shined!!! such a winner... this one wasn't a yielder strictly a head stash strain... wow is all i can say!!! crystals all over the place... contrasted by white on white crystals, with lime/pale/mint green calyxs and small leaves.. mostly all nug no leaves... yield isn't that great but wow. when dialed in this strains esp with CO2 it yields pretty well!!! smoke is epic!!! minty kush bubbak coffee fanstastic..lingers on the palate and has that unreal bubbak flave, but has something really special... finished in about 52-54 days... uplifting amazing buzz.. frankinscence smell akin to the bubbak but has that minty flavor and the high is extremely uppity and functional!!! this is the best of the best cut of bubbak beside the blanco bubbakush -- but it greatness in the fact it shined amongst the rest of any s1s found...

This is a start on the search for pics of my mintbubbak -- this is the closest thing I've smoked/ran years back with my buddy katsu -- you are viewing the flowering and finished pics of the katsu cut... it is the closest cutting signed sealed and delivered of my mintbk -- only difference is katsu's cut turned purple or changed colors when it was near done.. mine never turned even when real cold air was in the room circa 2005... but the look, flavor, bag appeal.. and all was spot on.. katsu and myself years ago had a subjective difference in opinion .. him saying his cut was better, and me saying mine was.. again this was strictly subjective..

many many folks out of the kindness of katsu was gifted this cut he spent upward of $5000 on years ago , in order to get the best of the best... this was before OG was readily available like it is now and BK as well as many others..

This is by far prob the best version of the pre98 BK available.. if you have this one, hold onto it.. the mint yielded less than the katsu but had some better properties IMHO.. 1. finished early around 52-56 days.. you could take her to 70 days if you liked it but this was the most functional, amazing kush that had the best heady high, uppity.. social and fun.. no need to take her any longer than 60 days, only for yield and if done in DWC/hydro she was done.. amber and all 2. she was more mint/limey green and had more crystalization... 3. didn't cost me anything..

cons.. terrible yield only if dialed in.. use CO2....!!! if not its a head stash strain, not for commercial... also took a little bit of getting used to as far as vigor etc.. she was a bit of a hardcore strain to get used to as it was from the old school but honestly well worth it..

sad but these dudes from bcbuddepot stole the mintbk mom and this chocdeisel male that was all chocolate trip aka the best version of a short -- worked version of a real deal chocolate thai lineage from the dutch flowers family -- the only one i have enjoyed from their infamous line on cbay years ago -- circa 2006-07 and this, the choco d was tried out and found a real choco trip leaning male -- used to x to all the elites my buddy had -- the chocotrip seeded nicely and we made a chocotrip male from those that we tried, that stunk like the tell tale chocotrip -- pulled the male and used that male to pollenate the mintbk -- ended up only with beans, only ran her once but with the borg aka spidermites and was a wrap lol!!!!

Sup Eck, S4v here ;)I see you're still looking for your baby, good luck homie. I remember the pix of the mint bubba on the old cw. Yield looked crazy low but i heard the quality was great.

Definitely not a fan of the katsu bubba. Can't stand the nylon windbreaker OVERtone with the coffee UNDERtone smell, or the 10 weeks of excellent growing PLUS cure that's needed to make her live up to her legendary status :banghead: Too much work for the number she's going for nowdays.

BUT

IMHO all bubbas have depth to them and require some extra love to make em shine. Working with the Bombthreat right now. All the coffee of the katsu x 10 with a sprinkle of og on the nose. When i nail her you'll be the first to get some homie

sadly enough they took the mintbubbakush, f2'd the chocod x mintbubbak,and sold that lol!!! --- no issue now, wish had some of those insane beans...
