You see alot of Chemdog #4 too. I have no experience with the chems really just a cpl crosses be nice to run the cuts once.

She grows like a beast and is very stable. The D throws nanners unless u have a perfect environment. Never had the 91 but have sample it plenty. From what I've seen 91 is usually the smallest of the chems but straight fuel. And yes very hard to get the original real deal. Unfortunately thats how it goes

Yes yes you're correct and it's nothing like what i know of the original poo..but i could of had an imposter 15 years ago, just know ill never forget that name or smell!

The Trinity in the Missoula area early 00, true roadkill skunk, true blueberry, northern lights #2 out of a grower from Nelson, B.c.....too many to name. I lost a blue cheese that was truly special blueberry muffin madness.

This looks like the real deal skunk!!!!! The strain that most assumed to be lost! Do you have it still? Can you please do a smoke report and grow log!

I think you are speaking of hashplant that came from B.C.....I love that strain very little hairs and crystal galore, an almost chocolate but super rich flavor! I miss this one so very much too, but the last time I was in Vancouver I saw her alive and well so there is hope that someday she will make it down south.

I think we are talking about two different varieties. Hash Plant varieties were bred for high trichome count, so of course the Cherry Hash Plant had a lot of crystals, but there was no chocolate flavor in the variety I was talking about. It was a faint cherry medicine type flavor with a rich earthy hashiness. It may have come from Canada somewhere, at that time there was a lot of Canadian herb finding its way to the states.

Yeah I remember the pure hashplant which had the chocolate flavor and I remember the cherry which had a cherry medicine flavor. They were both Canadian and variations of the same thing, imo. Either way great choice!

I would like to ask a question - history of nl strain - What i think i know - Neville's creation , wanna of the first strain available , used well in alot of crosses and breed well ?
What i wanna know
1) if i am correct
2) how many dif northern lights are there besides obviously 5 & 2
3) and any other info - love this history shit ....
4) and the genetic's - i could look it up but gotta run ...

Well this is a strain in which I do not know a whole lot of background info other than what can be found on the web and I think you are right about Neville being the creator of the strain and from what I am to understand there is only the original Northern Lights and the #2,5,13, etc. are phenotypes. I have not seen any in recent times except for an atomic northern lights available out of Harborside, which is awesome just not really the same as the nl that i remember from way back. The Northern Lights that I was able to smoke back in the late 90's that came from Canada was amazing though! A piney flavor but straight crystal to the max!!!!! It was some unbelievable smoke. I also was lucky enough to smoke some NL #5 that was out of eastern MT from 04-10, also some really great smoke with a very different but unique and wonderful flavor. I don't see NL in too many of the current strains as most seem to be either haze or og influenced but I am sure an old school northern would be considered fire and quite sought after if it were available. I think the flo cut out of co has a slight northern lights taste to it.

Shoreline is still around. Just lost my cut a few months back, but there still quite a few folks around with her. Real deal RKS! The cut I sent to ADam actually placed in the Cannabis Cup.
